Huge portions!

You will get your money's worth when ordering here. My experience is only with their breakfast menu (5 egg(!) omelettes) but they also offer lunch items. We stopped in for breakfast while on vacation. The restaurant was highly recommended by some of the locals. My wife ordered the Crepes she enjoyed them, however wished they were filled with cream cheese and topped with the fruit. I had a Western Omelette, it was the biggest, fluffiest omelette I had ever had. I couldn't finish it due to... More

Old Big Boy restaurant that has one of the largest menus I have seen. The price is very reasonable for every selection and you get a large bang for your buck where 2 could eat off of 1 order if you like the same thing. The breakfast I had was a scrambled egg dish that was way more than I... More

Expect to queue on Sunday's but it's worth the wait. Great breakfast and pancakes to die for. It's a huge restaurant but still gets full up with people as it is so good,

I found this restaurant on the Internet and thought we would give it a try since we shop at Costco ( which is across the street). What a great place for breakfast. We ordered the silver dollar pancakes and sausage and, let me say, if you want to feel like you have been fed well, this is the place to... More

The menu has a great variety. Their pancakes are huge! This is the place for delicious omelets with many additions you select including great steak pieces and cheese. Don't forget the potatoes!

Stopped at Sophia's pancake house to get some great pancakes. Once inside we discovered it was a "Greek" restaurant. Huge menu selection. Looked like great food. I just had a bowl of soup, but it was tasty and the waitress was friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wanted a huge menu selection. But if you want pancakes... More

Sophia's offers large portions but large prices too. As with most restaurants, you get what you pay for, and at its core this is expensive diner food. I'm not even certain everything is homemade as some things seem to be right off the Sysco or GFS truck! The final nail-in-the-coffin for me is that the staff is brusque and not... More

If you have not been to Sophia's in Kalamazoo for breakfast then your missing out on a great meal. The staff are very friendly and professional and the cooks are amazing. I cannot get enough of there food even though they give you large portions and my favorite dish is the thick french toast and Gyro Skillet. If your looking... More

I was in Kalamazoo for work on Friday, 2/27/15, and since I had a little time to spare before my flight, I decided to have breakfast at Sophia's at the stadium drive location. I selected this restaurant due to the good reviews it received on here and another site, and I was looking forward to a great meal. when I... More
