The Kalamazoo Beer Exchange is a two-story multi-tap bar and grill located in the beautifully restored Globe Building in downtown Kalamazoo. Offering 28 rotating draught beers from around the world, The Exchange opens at 6 p.m., where draught beers are priced on real-time sales, like the stock market. Occasional "market crashes" drop beer prices to their all-time low. The food menu features pub fare with a twist, where classic dishes will be made new again.

Great atmosphere

Visiting Kalamazoo on a business trip and this has by far been my favorite stop. The serving staff are friendly and this was my best meal throughout my visit. The atmosphere is fun and unique. My suggestions would be to definitely stay long enough for a market crash!

Long wait for seating. Very crowded Saturday night. Loud fun place with lots of local friends gathering. Fun beer auctions

6 of us showed up at 6:45pm on Saturday night, put our name in for a table and 2 hours and 15 minutes later......yes, 9:00 we got a table. Ridiculous! When you put your name in they do not tell you how long the wait is. We talked to the manager once we were seated, you'd think they would give... More

Used this for evening event with business visitors from out of town. Food is Okay. Beer sampler and the stock exchange style pricing and action make for some interesting conversations when you are getting to know some new people. An easy ice breaker for conversation. Old open style building with interesting architecture.

The food is average. Wide variety if beers on tap. I like the stock exchange theme. It is a multi level facility with games and pool in the lower level. Plenty of seating and large bar upstairs.

Saw this place on Reddit from the opposite side of the world and went out of our way to visit on my recent North America trip, WORTH IT! Amazing concept, especially for those like myself who are into the finance side of things. Stay a while and order some of the great, albeit reasonably pricey, pub fare; if you're there... More

Met friends for lunch and learned that 6:00 pm was the best time to go. Sounds like a fun place, with prices on their beers fluctuating like the stock market. Our sandwiches were tasty, hot foods hot, ice cold beer. Definitely need to go back. Of course 1:00 on a Wednesday afternoon probably is a bit tamer than their evening... More

A Deschutes Jubelale was a great way to accelerate into the holiday spirit after catching a Cold Mountain Child concert at Bell's just down the street. K'zoo Beer Exchange maintains a brewpub feel, and the dynamic market pricing ensures a deal is just minutes away.

Their chilli fries were delicious and service was decent. The layout of the inside is cool. I'll certainly visit here again

I really enjoyed the concept of the kalamazoo beer exchange. Beer prices ranged from dirt cheap to pricey but all in good fun. HiIghlights were the dart game, pool table, and the food. I'm a huge fan of bar food and they have a good selection of food. I had the burger which was cooked to perfection, beer cheese soup,... More
