The setting is nice with the brick and wood along with a new outside seating area. Beer selection very good. Food is fine with burgers top notch (try one with a fried egg on top), fried baloney sandwiches brings back memories. Menu good use updating as it has not changed since opening.

My husband and I recently took a road trip through central Michigan and had the pleasure of having a meal and drinks (beer, of course!) at this fantastic establishment. I had actually planned to have dinner here on our first night in Michigan, but forgot about time zones and they were closed when we got into town. The second evening,... More

This place is pretty awesome. They have a great selection of beer, including many from Michigan breweries. The cool part is that the prices change based on what is being ordered. If the crowd is drinking a lot of a certain beer the price goes up, if not it goes down. The prices are reasonable to begin with so you... More

The service and staff are very welcoming and the bartenders lively, fun yet professional and also a friendly local crowd. The food is good and the atmosphere fun and happy whether upstairs at the bar or downstairs for pool or other games.

The concept of a beer exchange may be a gimmick, but I have to admit it makes for a lively night. The service was excellent and servers were always prompt to take orders and deliver beer. The food was also very good. It is not just typical "bar food". I had a delicious mushroom crepe served with a balsamic reduction... More

This was my first time visiting the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange. Thouigh we are from the other side of the state we often visit Kalamazoo. The Beer Exchange is by far one of the best places in Kalamazoo to enjoy a bite to eat, and a drink. The stock market concept, where beer prices change, up or down, every fifteen minutes... More

The craft beer selection is great (plus they have a delish hard-rootbeer for non beer drinkers). At unknown times, there's a loud crashing sound throughout the place and the beer prices drop (like the stock market). It's fun!

What fun! Why don't they have these Beer exchanges all over U.S.??? Novel idea. Paid three different prices for my Bell's Oberon - $5.00, $4.50 and $2.50 (when the market "crashed"). Can't remember what I ate, but think it was good!!

If you want to play the beer market and get some good brew deals, this is the place for you.. Creative concept of beer prices depending on demand. Prices go up or down every 15 minutes, with an occasional "market crash." Great selection of local and other brews. We had a large group that didn't all come at the same... More
