I have wanted to go to KBE for a while, and finally took the plunge. I went because of the beer exchange format and my love for craft beers. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. There was a good selection of items on the menu. My search was flavorful and cooked just right. I would go back, and recommend... More

I went with friends on a Saturday night. It was packed, with a fun vibe. During the market crashes, the beers are a fantastic bargain, and the prices were great overall (especially compared with Chicago bars). But I would recommend against eating dinner there. The menu was ambitious, but the food was way underseasoned and just not very good. I... More

All on recommendations did we go to this place. The concept is great. Plenty of TV for sports to watch of you want that atmosphere. We went upstairs and sat and ate. Although I had to tell the bar ten-dress what I liked and she translated that into a "oh, then you would like ..." rather than having a little... More

Enjoy the great beer selection and many craft beers. Great atmosphere and good staff. Enjoyed the knowledgeable staff and the wonderful recommdations. The food was fine. I don't think patrons come here for the food. Enjoy the brew!

Great food for the money! You MUST try the chicken pot pie, it is excellent!! Of course the beer is a good option too.

I've been to this place a handful of times and I've never experienced the "crash" .Some of the beers are pricey so it would have been nice for it to have crashed at least once . Like a lot of places the more expensive beers come in fancy glasses which also means smaller . I've never understood why places do... More

I wish I could do 4 1/2 stars, as I believe that this deserves more than 4 but dthere is one thing holding it back from a 5--the food I ordered. I've only been here once, so maybe I just chose poorly, or they had an off-night, but the Mac n cheese was just tasteless. Bland. Boring. Other than that,... More

This place was so much fun and can't wait to come back in the future! Our bartender, I believe her name was Logan, was great and made our night very enjoyable.

The setting is nice with the brick and wood along with a new outside seating area. Beer selection very good. Food is fine with burgers top notch (try one with a fried egg on top), fried baloney sandwiches brings back memories. Menu good use updating as it has not changed since opening.
