Wonderful, interesting, and well presented food with very pleasant and competent service. You would expect to pay more for this kind of meal. Small, intimate and quiet.... will definitely go back.

Rustica has the most flavorful food in town. My favorite dish is the fish stew/soup Bouillabaisse. Service is great. You can trust there wine recommendations.

The four of us ate here for the first time on New Year's Eve (we had called ahead to 'reserve' a table - a great idea - it was very busy!) and had a fabulous meal. My husband and one other in the party had the steak special of the night and both agreed that it was cooked perfectly and... More

Rustica stacks up well with the best restaurants in Chicago. That's where I'm from but spend a lot of time in the Kalamazoo area where we have a cottage. Local friends recommended Rustica. It was a Sunday night. We got there about 6 p.m. and pretty much had the place to ourselves. By the time we left at 8 it... More

Good food here (had dined here previously), but by all means don't make the slightest bit of what might be considered by one of the Co-Owners, Bill, to be a challenge to service, or size of drink, or length of time to get your drink. You may find yourself thrown out of the restaurant. Really! My wife and I have... More

We sat in the window of Rustica 3 nights ago, and had great service from Steph. The food was amazing (the grilled Romaine salad was a hit), and the wine list was exceptional, both in quality and in how reasonable the prices were. I had the lamb shank, which was meat you nudge off the bone with your fork. Everyone... More

This was my first time here and my experience was very positive and the food was good. The server was great and on top of things. Yes it's a small place and can get loud, but I was there for the food, beer and a good time. All were achieved. I would definitely go back.

This place is very pricy, loud, and cramped. Overall, it does not give you a nice dining experience (unless you want to shout to be heard by your companions!). The food was OK but not worth the prices they charge. We had a the parchment fish and it was tough. Not going through this again!!

We were in Kalamazoo for a dog show and always scope out restaurants on TA, so when we saw good reviews of Rustica, thought we'd give it a try. It's downtown and parking isn't the easiest, even on a weeknight, but ford forth and you'll be rewarded with a very tasty meal. We sat at the bar (as we usually... More

Excellent upscale dishes. Service was very good. The only drawback during the cold season is that it is a little drafty if you are sitting near the front door. Other than that, it is a great experience worth repeating.
