Mangia Mangia brings you a tradition in Italian food that's traveled the world and spanned several generations. We offer recipes born out of old-world traditions and prepared with expert care, from Nonna Rosa's spaghetti sauce that's been in the family since 1936 and served to diners in West Michigan ever since, to new culinary creations presented with authentic style. Our restaurant's name comes from what any Italian grandmother would tell her family and guests at the dinner table. "Mangia, Mangia." Eat, eat! And enjoy. Consistently great Italian food!

Great Wine List and yummy warm garlic bread to start the evening, followed by salads. Our group of 4 enjoyed a variety of entrees including: the 1-pound Pork Chop, Mushroom Ravioli, Chicken Mangia, and Carbonara...all prepared and presented nicely and in generous portions. Would have loved to tried... read more

When a restaurant reserves a large party (over 20) on a Friday night, they should have enough staff to be able to handle it without making others wait until their kitchen catches up!!! I am from a very tourist area and know this should not be a problem....for a properly run restaurant. Then after a long wait for the kitchen... More

Thank you for bringing this issue to my attention. Please accept my deepest apology. What the staff did not tell you is that our chef suffered a heart attack and has not been able to work. We are doing our best to bring the remaining staff up to speed . Being short staffed is one thing but when the conductor... More

I am a former manager of this restaurant. The food and the people are great I have probably eaten most items on this menu and all are great. I strongly recommend eating here. I will always be grateful to Maria and Emilio for the opportunity they gave me and always allowed me to take care of family first

Food was great! My wife and I visited for a rare date night tonight! She had the Chicken Gnocchi, and I had the Chicken Mangia, and they both tasted amazing. Waiter did a great job talking about pairing options for beer and wine. Only downsides were the waiter took a while to bring the bread before our entrees came, and... More

Visited this restaurant as part of a music presentation. Music "Who Hit John' was amazing however the rest of the package was not! Service was slow, the layout of the tables for the event was not efficient for the wait staff. We were part of a party of 5 - 2 got their meals about 35 minutes after ordering, the... More

Went for dinner during the week. Emilio and his wife are wonderful people who know how to cook Italian! The atmosphere is informal and cozy along with great service from their staff. Have had the eggplant along with the spaghetti as a side dish. My husband loves the lasagna. My sister always gets the Emilio pasta. It is fun to... More

There is nothing that we disliked and go to this place quite often. It is a quaint Italian restaurant that is downtown Kalamazoo, MI. and in the warmer months, they have outdoor seating. They just came up with a new "bread" and it is really good. The original one was good, but this one is great. If you love chicken,... More

What a great surprise! Zoodles instead of noodles! I was able to enjoy beautiful Italian dishes without the carbs. Well prepared, fresh entrees. The waitstaff , chef and manager were extra friendly.

Loving Italian and wanting to eat outside we chose Mangia Mangia. May give it one more chance. Server was attentive but while asking us if we wanted a drink she was cracking her knuckles! Mahi Mahi over cooked. Glad I had the "no wine sauce" on the side. I don't like soggy fish. The vegetables were great, onions, pepper, and... More
