My daughter is fussy when it comes to pasta, and although her favourite meal was not on the menu - tortellini with Alfredo sauce with mushrooms and prosciutto - they made it for her and it was delicious!

A group of 7 visited on a Sunday night. Pleasant atmosphere, with pleasant background music piped in. All but 1 ate various pasta dishes, and we all enjoyed (and shared) our meals. We had plenty to take home, too. The linguini with clam (olive oil sauce), fettuccine alfredo, and lasagna were delicious, but our favorite was the rigatoni with mushroom... More

Sorry but, this was not a good dish. I was looking for something gluten free, interesting with lots of veggies but, this was a bowl of marinara with large chunks of portabella mushrooms and not much else. The marinara was ok but not that great. The salad that accompanied it was romaine, tomatoes and cheese...not very interesting either. On the... More

Mangia Mangia is normally a great restaurant. This time however we had 4 different strands of hair in 3 of our dishes. Server was surprised but did not offer to bring new entrees. An off night for Mangia Mangia.

We were in Kalamazoo for a Sunday night show at the State Theater, so we decided to come in early to grab dinner before. A LOT of things in the area are closed on Sunday (or at least they were closed by the time we got there). The restaurants appeared to be open and this one had decent reviews so... More

Two of us dined early on a Tuesday evening. In all fairness, we were the only table at the time we arrived. It was our first visit and we were impressed with the views. Very tasteful and low lighting, and clean. The staff could have been a little quieter. For app we ordered Bruschetta. It was beautifully presented, but had... More

We've had two very good meals here. Good service, maybe a tad slow on one visit, but friendly. Grilled calamari was flavorful but tough and chewy, otherwise the food was very good, felt the menu had a nice variety. Nice atmosphere. Very good choice for Italian fare in this area.

One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited. If you are looking for value, ask what night they have the spaghetti special-It's under $4-not a special taste, but a special price

My daughters and I were enjoying the sunny fall day downtown Kalamazoo when we stopped into Mangia Mangia. It was obvious that we came during a low traffic time as very few people were there. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The décor is beautiful. What I really want to say is their marinara sauce is very good. It is... More

There were four of us that all ordered different meals. None of the food was "bad," but none of it was memorable either. Considering the cost of the food, it was very disappointing. Also, our server didn't know the daily specials, forgot to bring drinks, sides, and entrées. The booth we were in shared a wall with the kitchen and... More
