I Love Bell's

I love Bell's beer, so I decided to stop for lunch while driving from Detroit to Chicago. The food was very good, and I was excited to try some of the beers not available in my area. Our server started out great and friendly. He was very nice throughout the entire meal. However, it started to... read more

Let me start off by saying I always loved the window food service at Bells it was very unique and low key. I recently tried out the new restaurant and try number 1 we were seated in a back portion of the restaurant and I did not like it at all, it seemed to be a small room where you... More

I tried a couple of beers from the planet series. Wasnt a big fan. However, I really liked the Mango Habanero Oberon. Right balance between heat and sweet

This visit was more than expected. Purposely stayed in Kalamazoo to stop at this brewery and we're glad we did. Pros: • Great Beer • Wonderfully Preserved Building with appropriate renovations. • Nice outdoor patio and outside area. • Great Mac n Cheese (fresh ingredients) Cons • Growler only filled in general store, which closes at a different time than... Had dinner with the family. We started with the Ploughman charcuterie board which was very good but IMO, not worth $25. Also had the Poutine ($12), which is House cut fries, duck confit, cheese curds, gravy, cracklins, parsley, which was very good, and the Bacon Lollipops ($5) which were excellent. Son and DIL tried a couple of beer flights, which... More

Perfect weather on a Saturday evening to enjoy their beer garden. We had a group of 12 including children and waited a long time for a table. At least we had a great place to wait. The dry Riesling was outstanding.

A last minute decision to eat early dinner on a Saturday late afternoon. The beer choices excellent and refreshing after a day's work. Too much noise indoors as the acoustics are super bouncy. Outdoor seating immediately available and comfortable on a hot day. On to the food. Brussels with bacon small plate absolutely out of this world. Will dream about... More

Bell's Eccentric Cafe is a comfortable respite from other bars and micro brewery's. Eccentric is the decor...fantastic is the beer. Several " cafe only" brews to choose from. You can't go wrong!!!
