Cool place. Great beer!

Bells cafe has a great selection of beer you can only get their that they don't release anywhere else. It was very busy as the building I'd not very big inside. Will have to come back and try their food. It looked very good.

We really enjoyed the selection of 'can't get it anywhere else' brews from Bell's here. We were lucky enough to get a couple of seats at the bar and seating is first come/first serve. I'd recommend getting here early and often! Great atmosphere, better beers!

Bell's Eccentric Café is a neat brew pub with lots of character. It is located in the downtown area of Kalamazoo and next door to Bell's General Store where you can purchase Bell's souvenir shirts, caps, beer related stuff and much more. It is also one of the best places in America to buy homebrew ingredients. Great prices and selection.... More

Bell's is renowned for their beer, which is excellent, but the restaurant leaves a little to be desired. The food is average, there is no service (you stand in line at the counter, pub-style), most of the brews available are handwritten on a chalkboard which is difficult to read, and the 'musical entertainment' appeals only to those under 30 with... Native Michigander, amazed it took me years to finally darken the door of Bell's Cafe. It was worth the wait, atmosphere is great, however this Friday afternoon they were not staffed to handle the onslaught. We had travelled three hours and arrived hungry. Ordered beer and were told the kitchen was an hour behind. Are you kidding? We had an... More

Great beer and food. If you get warm weather it's paradise especially when they have live music. Craft beer at its finest. My personal favs are two hearted ale and Hopslam.

Larry Bell founded the craft beer movement in the Kalamazoo area and he remains the owner of this internationally known brewery. When you visit Bell's Eccentric Cafe, don't go for the Oberon, Two-Hearted or other brews you can buy in most U.S. states. Get a sampler of beers that are only available in the taproom (the ones written by hand... More

Truly outstanding beer selection. Food is good, atmosphere is pub style-stand in line to order food- pick it up when paged-no table service. In season, the outdoor area is a pleasure. A "must do" when in Kalamazoo.

We came here to try the sandwiches. We tried the Rueben, a bison wrap, and a grilled cheese. We also tried a jambolaya. The Ruebens were FABULOUS. Absolutely delicious. The grilled cheese and the wrap were OK. And the jambolaya was good. All in all very worthwhile, but not cheap.
