Oh...and a gorgeous beer garden, perfect for warm summer nights! The only (manageable) downside is the set up for getting beer/drinks. The line is often rather long, but the payoff is worth it :)

Bells is one of the better known breweries in Michigan and for good reason. They have great brews and cover pretty much all types. You can't really go wrong and I'm not sure I had had a bad beer there. Limited menu but all pretty good food. The place and people are like the name implies--Eccentric. Gets busy during prime... Bar has 33 taps, a great selection of their beer. All of their widely distributed beers plus lots of specialty choices. Food is average at best. Staff is really friendly. Beer is fantastic.

We went to see the Corn Fed Girls & it was a great experience. The intimate stage & perfect sound made for a fantastic show. All the bartenders were very knowledgeable & guided me through a progression of Stouts throughout the evening. My girlfriend & uncle enjoyed unlimited root beer. I purchased a cd after the show & a couple... More

We have been to Bell's three times now. I am looking forward to the opening of the dining room. It does cater to the college crow, not necessarily a bad thing, but I prefer having a server and not waiting at the bar. Decent menu selection of food and appetizers. Really great options on microbrews not found in other breweries.... More

Something for every beer-preference, in a bulding that must be 100 years old with exposed brickwork and beams. Love the beer themed stained glass windows. Order food at the bar and pick it up yourself at the window - really good sandwiches. Around the block from the Bell's Brewery Store with brand imprinted clothes, bar-ware, souvenirs and home brew supplies.... More

We have been enjoying Bell's beers for a few years now and finally made it up to Kalamazoo to visit. We were ther for lunch and of course beer. Luckly we go there shortly after they opened (it was a Sunday) because the line was already from the bar to the bathrooms when we go there. While we were eating... More

Was there for lunch. Limited menu , some what expensive but very good food. They had many beers available that are brewed on site. Stained glass windows inside cafe were beautiful. For an FYI - no TV's in bar area.

Stopped in for dinner prior to an event at WMU. Let's start with the positive. Staff was friendly and welcoming, beer was good (not great), and the place itself was comfortable. I don't think our dining expectations were too high, just simply wanted some good sandwiches and appetizers to go with some beer. It was not to be. To start,... More

Huge beer selection and good food. My only complaint would be just how busy it is on the weekends. Was impossible to find a place to sit down and relax. Ended up leaving pretty quickly.
