This place kicks a$$

Great beer and food. If you get warm weather it's paradise especially when they have live music. Craft beer at its finest. My personal favs are two hearted ale and Hopslam.

Larry Bell founded the craft beer movement in the Kalamazoo area and he remains the owner of this internationally known brewery. When you visit Bell's Eccentric Cafe, don't go for the Oberon, Two-Hearted or other brews you can buy in most U.S. states. Get a sampler of beers that are only available in the taproom (the ones written by hand... More

Truly outstanding beer selection. Food is good, atmosphere is pub style-stand in line to order food- pick it up when paged-no table service. In season, the outdoor area is a pleasure. A "must do" when in Kalamazoo.

We came here to try the sandwiches. We tried the Rueben, a bison wrap, and a grilled cheese. We also tried a jambolaya. The Ruebens were FABULOUS. Absolutely delicious. The grilled cheese and the wrap were OK. And the jambolaya was good. All in all very worthwhile, but not cheap.

If you love craft brew, this is the stop that defines Kalamazoo beer. If you're lucky enough to be there during a live show, you'll understand how intimate and cozy the place really is. The beers are top notch and they put in the effort that you can taste.

We wanted a cold beer and something to eat but did not want to get dressed up or "fine dine" this evening. Bell's has been in Kalamazoo for 30 years and is recognized as one of the top micro brewers in the mid west, if not the country. It's housed in an old warehouse that has been renovated and updated... I am a huge fan of Bell's beer so thought this place was a perfect option after a long day of skiing. My husband and I didn't really know what we were doing. So, you just grab a table and then place your food and drink orders at the bar. You will get a pager letting you know when your... More

We live only one town over and every time we've passed Bell's Brewery we've been meaning to stop because we like their beers when we travel. On this Sunday afternoon my husband and I decided to just go and check it out. As soon as we walked up to the bar we had one of the best bartender's, her name... More

It was very loud inside so we sat at a picnic table outside in a beautiful sunny afternoon. Love their beers.

Anyone who even slightly likes beer needs to visit Bell's. It's a great brewery and the Eccentric Cafe is a great place to enjoy their beer. There's often live music in the backroom, the beer garden is a great place to hang out in the summer and even the food is good. The cafe features many beers that aren't available... More
