Good beer, okay atmosphere

The beer was great but they way they do things could be better. You have to go to the bar to order drinks & food. There's only two bartenders. I just believe they are way to busy and rushed to give great service. Don't get me wrong here, the staff is not rude just VERY busy. So you just feel... read more

I am not a beer drinker, but Bell's is the best I have ever tasted and I have tried beer in Germany and in Belgium. Have to admit that Bell's is still the best! Combine that with a beef brisket sandwich - delicious and very satisfying. You don't even miss the French fries!

We stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon around 1:00/2:00. The place was pretty busy with a lunch crowd, but was still a short wait. We ordered a bunch of samples at the bar and then decided to have lunch. The menu consists mostly of sandwiches - we ordered a brisket, corn beef, and turkey avocado. All were great and served... My husband and I visited on a Saturday night. We had done a lot of traveling that day and were looking forward to checking this place out. At first, we were a bit confused about how everything works. There was a long line to order at the bar. You have to order all your drinks and food there. It wasn't... More

We stopped here with friends on the way to Detroit since they had visited the summer before and it was a delicious detour. The beer is certainly what brings in the crowds but this is a great looking venue for anything and being a college town it brings in plenty of smaller concerts. It has an inviting interior patio before... More

Bell's is a must see, but suffers from poor food & cramped atmosphere. I do enjoy the decor & it promises to improve with expansion soon.

This is Bells... so you now the beer is great. The food was just OK and it took about an hour to get a sandwich. It also took a LONG time to get a beer and you had to order from the bar. Overall it was fine because it was a beautiful day and no one was in a hurry.... More

We were at bells with a large group and had a few different appetizers all of which were very good. Service was very good the only draw back is they don't serve liquor and I'm not a beer or wine person. Great atmosphere and a fun place to go relax.

I visited with my wife a couple of days ago. the brewery had a great selection of their craft beers and good food as well. it took a little while to get the food, but was well worth it. The atmosphere of the facility was family friendly, but still a great place to go with friends. I would highly recommend... More

The beer was really good. The atmosphere was really good. The food not so much. It took a long time for the food and I'd say it wasn't worth the wait.
