Comfort food

Good beers on tap. Shocked to get a half decent hummus plate at a diner in northern MI in January. Was the only vegetable I saw that weekend. Followed it up with an excellent burger. Slow service not an issue, but it was not crowded on the day we were there either. Pleasantly suprised.

Decent food isn't enough to get us to come back. Typical American food that is sub par. But this is nothing compared to the fact that it took 30+ minutes for us to get our food. It's not like a burger or quesadilla needs to be slow cooked all day. My friends and I gave this place 3 chances since... More

Surprisingly varied cuisine for a small town. Even some vegetarian items. Food well prepared and tasty

While in Ironwood Michigan we ate at Don and GG's Food and Spirts. The food was very tasty, portions were generous, and the price was resonable. It was very clean and the server, Mark did an eexcellent job of taking care of us.

I have been going to Don and GG's for many years with family. The menu has changed somewhat throughout the years, but the food has always been great! I have childhood memories of playing in a small game arcade in the back of the restaurant (maybe 3 games?) with cousins while waiting for dinner to arrive. It's always a great... More

Had read good reviews, positive reviews. Good service. Typical supper club menu -- lots of deep-fried fare. Burgers are best. Had grilled fish sandwich which was under-cooked and cold. Will look for other spots on next go-around.

Try the cheese curd appetizer or the curd burger, you won't be disappointed. They give you nice size portions of food, you won't walk away hungry. Also try the loaded bloody Mary it's pretty tasty! The Reuben is good too!

We were looking for a place for dinner near the AmericInn and decided to try this place. It was very good. The Mexican food I had was excellent and my husband was pleased with his burger. The service was a bit slow even though it was almost empty on a Saturday night at 6 p.m. Still I would recommend it.

The service was good, but the food was pretty average. The menu offers a lot of deep-fried options. Probably wouldn't go back.
