Your typical small town cafe. Good prices for a plate full of food. Greasy, but good. All American cuisine. Recently freshened up interior with new curtains, carpet, tables chairs and paint. It's a needed update. Looks nice!

Two waitresses were trying to serve 12 tables including a kid's birthday party. Bless them. 9" Pizza had a hard, cardboard like crust. It sure tasted like it had been frozen. Ground chuck steak looked like 2 hamburger patties stuck together because they were. Dreadful dinner.

Tried to eat at Alice's Restaurant but it was closed. After checking out a few other place, we came here as it was the best option in Iron River. Food was good but the service was quite slow.

We checked into our hotel late. We were tired The hotel personnel suggested Mr. T;s, but said they were closing within the hour. Oh great I thought. I'm sure they'll be thrilled to get customers so close to closing. The wait staff was fantastic, polite, friendly. They did not rush us at all. They even made up a special container... More

The food is over priced for the portions you receive. You really don't get a good bang for your buck! If your a big eater you don't want to go to Mr. T's. Thanks Don:

We stopped for gas at the BP station and asked for a good place to eat. When we got to the parking lot, we knew we were at the right place. It was full! Greeted in a friendly way at the door. I had the cod meal and my wife had liver and onions. We both enjoyed our food. The... More

After a long day traveling we stopped in a local restaurant in Iron River, MI and had very friendly dining experience. The menu was quite extensive and they served breakfast all day. It was around 2:00 PM when we arrived, so breakfast was one of the items we chose. The usual eggs, bacon and hash browns along with toast, which... More

It took about 10 min to get our first cup of coffee. The people at the table behind us were served cold gravy for their biscuits. I ordered a toasted bagel no butter and cream cheese. It took several mins to get the attention of the waitress to tell her it was wrong. My bagel had butter on it. By... More

I like the updated look at Mr T's it brings the place more up to current times. We ordered Mexican items based on the waitress suggestion and was a little disappointed with the canned cheese, jar salsa and store bought stale nacho chips. Would have thought that it was a little more home cooked.

We were in Iron River for a tournament in February. A large group of us went to Mr. T's for lunch the food was very good hot and served quickly. The waitress was very friendly and did a great job keeping everything together. I would recommend Mr. T's well worth the cost and plenty to eat even for growing boys.
