I was a bit disappointed by this restaurant. It was so cute on the main street, the hub of activity, in Houghton, Michigan. Unfortunately the food was not fresh and it was c-o-l-d. I was so bummed cause I was look forwarding to sampling Finnish food. Oh well maybe they were having a bad day.. :(

It's been an hour and fifteen minutes since we ordered our 3 breakfasts. It was busy but we were seated immediately. Now it's lunch time. So bored I had to resort to this post. Doesn't matter how the food tastes. Terrible service!

The decor leaves a lot to be desired, but you cannot beat the friendliness of the staff and the taste of the food. We stopped here for breakfast on the way up to Copper Harbor and it was great. The staff was really friendly and the food was good. Soon as we walked in the greeted us with open arms.... More

Excellent food and very friendly. Stopped for a snack and returned the next day for lunch. Agree with comments of previous reviewer. Decor is non-existent but the food and service made up for it.

The desk clerk at the motel recommended this place because Victoria grows and makes her own foods. The food was very good. I had French toast that was two large pieces of home-made bread. On the con side, the place is an old store-front but not effort was put into fixing it up. The kitchen is right in the middle... More

This is a great place to go if you are looking for a place that has something for everyone; the menu is huge! I had lunch there last weekend with a friend; she had falafel and spice potatoes and I had cranberry chicken. We both liked our meals very much. Completely filling. The wait staff was great. Victoria's is right... More

Love Victoria's Kitchen. Some things have changed since it was Marie's but generally the food is just as good as it ever was. And that is truly wonderful. I've never had lunch here but breakfast is the best in town. Especially if you get an omelette. Tried Dawn's special omelette for the first time my last visit and it is... More

Very friendly folks here who make some excellent homemade soup! We just wanted something basic and lite to tide us over until dinner. We also wanted to carry out so we could enjoy our snack while checking out the beautiful scenic view of Oughton and Hancock. We had the vegetable soup and it was very good and the folks here... More

Service was a bit slow. Very interesting menu, and the prices are reasonable. We had three meals - one was awesome, the two average. I'd go back, but stick to items that include the fresh homemade breads.

The food here is interesting, in that I'm in the mood for adventure interesting kind of way. I had a lamb gyro, that was really house made all the way to the pita, very unusual and good but the decor in this place, hard to deal with. The bldg. itself has great bones. Good architecture but everything in it feels... More
