So 84 east is now Hops as well. Great cider and beer on tap- over 70 and 8 different ciders. The food was fantastic. I had the brick chicken, which was not only presented well but tasted amazing. Service was great, cider was yummy, all was enjoyed. Little bit of a wait but we just walked around downtown while waiting.... More

84 East is getting a much needed facelift, and the timing couldn't be better. My friends convinced me to come out on a Friday night for $3 martinis. I should have known... You get what you pay for. If you're in the mood for a tiny, sickeningly sweet sugar drink with too much triple sec and blue curaçao, then this... More

I took a chance on this restaurant. However with some good luck and a great waiter, I enjoyed my Cheese bread and Cesear Salad. Most delicious.

Wait staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful. The old building seems to have been beautifully renovated keeping wonderful, historic architectural details, murals and a very cool bar. The food we had was excellent. We both had to have the highly recommended house specialty, the baked spaghetti. We got the meatball add-on. I suggest you skip the temptation to get the... More

Kitschy bar downtown in older building; rustic & vintage décor. Friendly & timely service. We each ordered a burger - AWESOME. Don't need any sides or appetizers! There is a bar area towards the front/along one side wall with local beer.

We went out of our way to fight the crowds to go back to 84th East. So glad we did! The atmosphere is relaxed and the food was top notch. We ordered a starter & each we completely happy with our entrees. Quality ingredients and friendly, timely service. Won't break the bank either.

We were a group of 13 in town for Hope College graduation. They opened specially on this Sunday, as they are usually closed on Sundays. The place is casual, but comfy and offer a nice, varied menu. Sandwiches, salads, pasta, and steaks were on offer, and our group like it all. Spaghetti pie was a winner. It was very busy,... More

The pasta dishes are wonderful, especially the baked spaghetti pie! And our waiter was excellent. We always enjoy our dining experience and make it a point to dine here when we're in Holland.
