Great sandwiches, donuts and pie

Crane's in the City is a perfect place to stop in for lunch in downtown Holland. You can get all the great things that Crane's Apple Orchard produces, in a convenient downtown location! The cider is always delicious whether it is hot or cold, the donut sundae is a personal favorite as well. As far... read more

We loved Crane's In The City so much we ate dinner there twice during our week in Holland - and grabbed cider doughnuts there a couple of times, too. Plenty of great options (even for our picky eater). It is a very cozy, relaxing place to enjoy a meal or a piece of pie.

My husband and I stopped by for a slice of pie after grabbing take out at a barbeque restaurant. We just wanted to grab some food we could take back to our hotel room. At first glance, the place was really cool, and we were hoping for a nice treat. There were a few people in line ahead of us,... More

I have been to Crane's in the City almost every year we have vacationed in Michigan since Crane's in Fennville opened this place in Holland. Usually I have the City Cristo sandwich, but this year I had soup and salad. Of course I always end the meal with a piece of pie, this year blueberry.

Crane's in the City brings the flavors of Crane's Orchards in Fennville to Holland, MI. The cider is delicious year round, and the food is great, too. I always order the City Cristo sandwich. I usually don't like sweet bread, but with this sandwich, it's amazing. The sandwich is big, so you could share, but it's so tasty, you won't... More

I had a turkey Rubin that was very good, The place was clean and the town was very busy with all the street performers but they made our sandwiches faster than I could hope!

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and a slice of pie. Watched them grind the beans for a terrific cup of coffee. Tried the blueberry pie and the cress (they simply called it chocolate pecan). Both were outstanding with lots of filling and flakey crust. Would highly recommend. The salads looked wonderful as well but can't comment on them... More

We went there for cider. But enjoyed the atmosphere and know from when I was a kid the apple pies are awesome! We'd have to travel out to Fennville as a kid to taste this treat. So glad they are expanding.

Ordered the City Cristo which was turkey, provolone, apple slices and mustard, grilled on apple butter bread, sprinkled with powered sugar. It sounds crazy, but it was the best first experience of these combined ingredients! I went out on a limb ordering it, but the sweet with the apple was incredible. I was asked to share and I wish I... More

This was our first visit. We were greeted by a very friendly and Bubbley cashier. We placed out order, she gave us a Free warn Apple Cider Donut. Warm and Delicious. My wife and I each had a Panini, very good. But, I Love Pie, and they had Pie! So many to choose from. My choice, after a long deliberation,... More
