Love the atmosphere and food! City Cristo is fantastic. Turkey, provolone cheese, apples, honey mustard grilled on apple butter bread topped with powdered sugar. Came with chips and I added homemade cider. Havent tried the blueberry pie yet that I got to go but the pies and streudels look awesome. Many to choose from. Friendly and quick service. Update: Blueberry... More

If pie is your thing--this is the place. Awesome pies served here from the famous Fennville piemaker. Compact menu of soups and sandwiches make this small cafe on 8th street a nice stop. For my first visit, a working lunch with a colleague who goes there regularly, I had their 'famous' chili. It was good,,,not a chili that will win... More

i dream of crane's cider donuts. literally the stuff of dreams, people. i grew up in holland and moved away. whenever my parents come visit, i request a half dozen of crane's cider donuts. holland very much is a place where everybody knows your name, and crane's is no exception (except no one knows my name. i moved away. but... Great Café!! We stopped in this past week to grab a quick bite to eat while visiting the city of Holland, Michigan. We consider this a great stop and a great find for us and other travelers planning a visit to Holland, Michigan. Their menu is nicely varied to fit any ones appetite. We split a sandwich they call the... More

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a sunny, fall-colored October day. The café was cozy and friendly. It is self-service and a little slow, but if you're out for a relaxing day it fits the bill. I had a salad and my husband had a sandwich which were both very good. My husband also had an apple... Cranes is a treat from big restaurants. If you just want a really good lunch...soup, sandwich, pie....this is the place! Good variety and high quality food. I've had the tomato soup and several sandwiches, including one with their famous apple sauce. You really should try it!

The ordering process/wait Que is cumbersome. The pies in the case appeared to be more than a day old, I had a piece anyway, and it tasted more than a day old. My BLT is only served on a hamburger type bun. Too much contention on a Friday afternoon after the lunch hour for a place to sit and enjoy,... More

We stopped in on a late Sunday morning it wasn't that crowded but the service was poor. The poor girl at the register couldn't do simple math and it took 10 plus minutes to get 6 apple cider donuts, a cup of coffee and a mocha latte. That said....the apple cider donuts were scrumptious and I would definitely go back... More

A terrific place for a real home feel meal. The pie crust was perfect, the hot dog was grilled to perfection, and the chili warms the soul.
