Life is just bowl of cherries

Didn't dine, just stopped in to buy our annual vacation cherry pie. There IS NO BETTER CHERRY PIE in America. Don't miss it.

We always love Crane's in the City for lunch when we're browsing 8th Street in Holland. The City Cristo sandwich is the favorite of my whole family (picky eaters included). Turkey, apples, cinnamon bread, apple butter and cheese all come together for a grilled masterpiece. Seriously, the one person in our party (who loved their sammie, too) kept going in... More

We love the main restaurant so when we had an out of town guest, we decided to stop at the downtown location and give that a shot. While the food was good, the service wasn't. I think we may have caught them on a very understaffed day.

Had lunch with friends. Soup was yummy and the raspberry pie was pure bliss. Would definitely return here next time I'm back in Holland.

My wife and dog were visiting Holland as part of our summer vacation. We stopped here because it was one of the few restaurants that would allow us to have our dog sit with us for lunch. It turns out that we have found a rare gem of a restaurant. Service was great, and the food was incredible. We both... More

Pies are delicious! Sat outside and watched the world go by. No tartness here at all! Dessert was yummy!

We have had several pies from here, and have never been disappointed! Sometimes we pick up pie for special occasions and cook them at home. Everything we've ever had has been great especially the raspberry pie!

This was my second visit to Crane's in the City in the past year. The first time I had a salad which was good. This time my mom and I split their version of a Monte Christo sandwich, which is listed as a favorite. It was unique and very good. I'd order that again. We finished with a piece of... More

Crane's in the City is a perfect place to stop in for lunch in downtown Holland. You can get all the great things that Crane's Apple Orchard produces, in a convenient downtown location! The cider is always delicious whether it is hot or cold, the donut sundae is a personal favorite as well. As far as sandwiches go the City... More
