This place is out of business for over a year. It never was very good, dirty and the food was not worth what they wanted. I think that is why they went out of business.
the resturant is no longer open. They asked us what kind of dressing we wanted on our Greek Salad! the food was prepared poorly and not served well either. the atmosphere was like a store more then a resturant. the people serving didn't seem to know what they were doing.
Don't pass up a chance to eat at the Blue House Bistro. This bistro is Chef-owned and opened for the summer season. Not a typical restaurant, high quality food, a delightful experience that bears repeating.
This was a nice stop for lunch. We all loved listening to the radio station out of New Orleans while eating lunch. It's small, but full of charm. The menu wasn't huge, but had enough variety to please all (we have a vegetarian in our family). The waitress was friendly and quick. If you want a different type of place... More
This is a gem! We had one of their small plates, the mediterranean sampler with warm pita yummy! That set the tone. Then we ordered the crab cakes in puff pastry with a merangue topping on a bed of greens. Really different and inovative. I can't wait to go back. A little hard to find because the farmer's market was... More
We were looking for a unique place to eat in Holland, and came across the Blue House Bistro. The managers were very friendly and welcoming. The average menu meal is $8-$10, and plenty of food! The Chicago Beef sandwich and fries was really good! We would definitely return to try something else. We had a party of 5 and everyone... More
I have been a long time customer at the Blue House Bistro. The food is always excellent, full of flavor and the entire experience reminds me of a true Creole dinning experience. The staff are always extremely friendly and fast. I absolutely love the Gorgonzola Stuffed Chicken and the Fried Chicken with Red Beans and Rice. The Blue House Bistro... More
We have gone to the Blue House Bistro on several occasions and always love to go back. If it was for the ambiance, we would not go there. What brings us back is the excellent gumbo, the jambalaya, the creole pizza, the Phyllo feta rolls and the like. The cook is be very creative and often tries variations of a... More
My husband had read a favorable review, so we went with family and were all VERY disappointed! Nothing was exceptional and several items were mediocre at best. I just don't see how this place will stay in business long. Presentation of entrees was poor as well and they all seemed very bland. It was over priced as well.
