The food was good and the wait was minimal. It looks like it could be a long wait at times. View was of the harbor and very nice. The wait staff were courteous and the service was prompt. Overall a good experience.

What a great dinner my husband and I expierenced for our 25 wedding anniversary. Sitting by the water and the view was wonderful! I chose the shrimp cocktail which had a Mexican twist and it was amazing. It was an appetizer but with a salad it was perfect. My husband had the Perch sandwich and said it was the best... More

We had a lovely dinner on Lake Macatawa. The view was fantastic and the evening was perfect weather wise. We had a lovely waitress who was courteous and interested in the fact that we are Australian - she had spent time in Sydney. I tried the local Perch and it was very nice and the beloved had the ribeye which... More

On a recent Saturday evening, four us enjoyed a delightful dinner overlooking Lake Macatawa from our outdoor table. We were visiting friends from Holland who highly recommended Boatwerks. We can see why. The view of the lake is outstanding, & the food was equally good. I recommend the mushroom swiss burger, juicy & thick. The other 3 raved about their... More

This is a wonderful location to view all of the activity on the waterfront in Holland, Michigan. The servers were friendly and courteous. Our large group had excellent service and generous portions of food. There were a variety of entrees to choose from. They were all very good. The weather was perfect for a stroll around the grounds to enjoy... More

We decided to try going on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch to enjoy the view. The hostess kept telling us to wait 15 minutes and sit in the bar for happy hour, and we kept politely telling her that we were not interested in the bar area, but wanted to sit in the restaurant area. We were nicely... More

We had dinner here due to a friend's recommendation. We came for the view & hoped the food would be good. Great location on the lake but food and service were mediocre at best. I had perch which was very average. My guest had chopped salad. When we asked the waitress to omit the cucumber, she said they couldn't request... More

My husband and I went to Boatwerks hoping it had improved. Nope, it hasn't. We never received our appetizer, our salad went to the wrong table and our brownie was hard. The waitress has no clue that our appetizer never arrived. She then said, "I will take it off the bill." No kidding... You better take it off the bill.... More

Very attentive staff. Excellent food and a view to die for! This place is a prize. We went for lunch but I cannot wait to return to the area and enjoy dinner and a few drinks with a beautiful view.

Sat outside at the bar on the waterfront. Really a pleasant experience. We love the boating motif and honoring the area's history. There was a good selection of craft beers. Had black bean tacos that had a grilled, smokey flavor. Very good.
