Eat on the deck or skip it.

There is only one way to really enjoy Boatwerks and that's on the deck. The deck is on the water and the setting and view are awesome! But if you have to eat inside you may be disappointed because the food is only average and it's kinda expensive.

Met a friend for lunch. We both had salads and both agreed the salads had no flavor. Considering the cost of the entree versus the amount and quality of the food served..very poor value. Many better restaurants in the area. The decor was beautiful...on the water. We wished the food quality matched the ambiance. Not likely to return.

All I can say is: Food was great. Everything came just the way we ordered. Service was exceptional. Someone was always there to check on us and make sure our glasses were full. View was remarkable. We sat at the water and had the pleasure of seeing a perfect sunset. Will be back. Can't wait

Again, a lovely view. The food we ate on a Sunday morning tasted as if it had been warmed up from the day before. Soggy popcorn shrimp, burnt potato chips, soggy quiche and mushy fruit. The quiche wasn't on the menu so we didn't realize we were paying $13.00 per piece! This was not our first encounter with poor quality... More

We went here for Mother's 80th bday dinner. Nice but small outside table. The views are the best party in my opinion. Our food was good but pricey for the preparation. Nothing special. I expected more..Mother did have a great chocolate dessert. I was rather surprised that nothing was offered for her 80th???

Great views of the waterfront. This place has an exceptional menu. The prices have gone up since our last visit but they are still in the reasonable range. Call ahead because it can be crowded.

The restaurant has a great view , and when the weather is nice , a great place to sit outside , the service is good , but that's where the good part ends , the restaurant changed the menu , and raised the prices , which are extremely high for the amount you get , the food used to be... More

My husband and I had a couple of meals here recently. The waiting staff was excellent and friendly. The food was really good. We shared one of the pizzas, which was yummy. The huge chocolate dessert and the very large key lime pie were really, really good. (They make all of their own desserts in-house, and it shows.) My husband... More

After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor (of course), my husband and I went here for dinner. We sat inside (it had just rained 30 minutes prior to arrival) and got a booth. We both ordered beers, my husband ordered the perch sandwich, while I got the walleye dinner. (I was hesitant about the chorizo shrimp sauce, but it was tasty!)... More

The review above said it best, "great location (view from the deck is the river front) OK food. I had the Lake perch, very small fish and breading was a little over powering for the fish. The calamari app was very good, I would order that again.
