Boatwerks is located on Lake Macatawa just a few blocks from downtown Holland, Michigan. The restaurant provides a great view down the length of the lake and offers beautiful sunsets. The outdoor seating is well designed and comfortable in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Even in winter the large window views of the frozen lake are impressive.

For a truly awe-inspiring view, at sunset, one cannot do much better than this and eat great food at the same time. Interesting historic building commemorating and describing the local boat-building industry. Really should not be missed when in Holland.

Boatwerks, of Holland, Michigan is located on Lake Macatawa, and offers a great place for lunch or dinner and is located only about a 1/2 mile from down-town Holland. It is also situated right on the waterfront, so if you have a boat you can sail up to the dock side of the restaurant and tie off if a space... More

Having finally visited for dinner last fall, my wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Boatwerks since. It has quickly become our favorite restaurant on the lakeshore. The menu has a nice variety, the food has always been prepared to perfection and the staff has no equal.

We had the opportunity to dine here on Christmas day. The buffet had such a great selection it was hard to believe. They had a good crowd, yet there were enough empty tables that it felt like we were dining at home. We were able to go through the buffet with plenty of room and spacing. Salad bar, fruit and... Dinner with the wife on a Tuesday night - ordered salads and entrees. The usual rolls were brought to the table by a different second wait staff. Then after a modest wait the same second associate shows up with hot entrees and my wife's salad all at once. My salad forgotten. Hot entrees in front of us. What kind of... More

Eric, Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. Positive, or negative, the feedback is important. The second assistant you referred to is our food runner. I'm wondering if you could give me a call at 616-796-0740 to discuss your visit in more detail. Were you able to speak to a manager regarding your experience? Also, knowing... More

I live near this restaurant but have eaten there only three times. The food is actually really delicious and the lakeside location is awesome, especially in summer. Each time we went, our party of six was seated in a four person booth or table! There was hardly anyone else in the place. We asked to move to a larger area... More

We've eaten here several times, and have never been disappointed by the food or service. It is so consistent, you almost take it for granted! We dined here most recently on a Thursday night. Be warned: They stop serving at 8pm on weekdays in the winter. Our table had the perch, steak salad, and I had the duck. All excellent,... More

Our children could not be home for the first thanksgiving ever so we decided to try Boatwerks. We were glad we did. The buffet was endless. there were many areas to choose from and many trips back and forth, gladly. There was a sea food bar that even had smoked fish, a salad bar, a fruit, fruit salad, and muffin-bread... More

Boatwerks has a beautiful location on Lake Macatawa. We would go there just for the view! During the summer, the outdoor area is very nice. Boats will dock there for meals. If you are inside, there are large windows on 3 sides that give you a great view. But, more than just the view, the food is also great. The... More
