Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant Opened Memorial Day Weekend of 2006 The property has a rich history on the lake. Past businesses include property Occupying the year aggregate dock and storage area, a coal dock and marine construction and dredging has company. The building WAS designed to harken back to historic boat building factories lined the shores That of Lake Macatawa with Exposed beams and brick. The bar top WAS created to mimic the decks of hand-crafted wooden boats made by the likes of Chris Craft with light wood inlays betweens darker mahogany boards. The walls are lined with historic photos of the Lake Macatawa, Lake Michigan and Holland Areas. The restaurant continued to evolve and add features That Enhance the guest experience. In 2008, the outdoor patio bar WAS Added to create a comfortable outdoor lounge area. The next year saw the addition of glass walls along the boardwalk to create true waterfront tables right on the edge of the seawall. The next major change cam in 2012 with the full remodel of the indoor dining room and lounge. The Areas Were swapped to create a better dining experience for our guests with Additional windows Added to the North wall and elevated seating area year to Ensure great lake views for Every guest in the dining room. We Know That with growth, change must come aussi. Constantly we are looking for avenues and ideas to make Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant The Most Sought After dining experience on the lakeshore.

Great view!

We splurged for a night out. Menu is small but a great mix of food offerings on it. I ordered a turkey sandwich - one of the cheaper things on the menu, it was good, nothing outstanding. My mom ordered the farmhouse chicken off the senior menu - we've never seen chicken this way before - that was a... read more

Never been impressed with the food here. Had the fish and chips last time (Sept14 I think) Probably ate there 6 times in the past 2 yearsd. In my opinion there are many places that have better food and service. I guess the view doesn't do anything for me since we live on the water, so I guess it's relative.... More

We were after the lunch rush and enjoyed a very good meal while watching ice fisherman make their way back and forth. It was a bit more expensive than I would normally spend for lunch but we were on vacation and I refuse to eat at any chain restaurants. I had the perch sandwich - which was delicious though I... We were here last night for dinner. Seeing how it was my first time here I had no idea what to expect. I had the mac n, cheese with chicken and bacon added. The mac n' Cheese was creamy and wonderful. My boyfriend ordered the end cut of prim rib cooked medium. When it arrived at the table it was... More

A catered event that was top notch! I had over 50 guests that all left with nothing but good things to say about both the food and service. Thank you to the event planning staff - they made this look easy!

My husband and I were out in Holland for the afternoon and decided to stop in at Boatwerks. Since the main remodeled dining room wasn't open yet, We happened on Happy Hour at the Roundabout Bar and it didn't disappoint. Our server was great and attentive. Even the manager came around to be sure we were enjoying ourselves. We enjoyed... More

This is my "go to" place from a perch sandwich. The coleslaw is served on the sandwich and adds an all new flavor to the lightly breaded fish. The homemade chips are delicious and worth the calories. The decor of this place is nautical and sits along the river. Nice restaurant for lunch or dinner, my husband enjoys the local... More

Went here tonight for date night as this is a "go to" spot for us... however, after ordering the seafood mixed grill, it came out seriously undercooked. The "fresh catch of the day" was salmon and was not cooked, the shrimp was still gray and somewhat translucent, and the crab cake was not hot... (Waitress looked at it and knew... More

Stopped by Boatwerks on New Year's Eve around 2 PM. The restaurant was fairly empty and waited just a few minutes to be seated. The funny thing was the host or manager came up and asked us, "How Many? Let me go see what's available." Our entire group laughed because we could plainly see many empty tables. As we were... More
