Hmmmm steak !

Don't get there often, but it's been great every time we've been there. Last night didn't disappoint, the wait was worth it. Their claim to fame is you can self-cook your own steak on the 755 degree heated rock. Plus you can reheat your veggies on it to. They have a decent selection of Michigan... read more

We called a head for my husband's birthday. We ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes but it was well worth it! We ordered three appetizers, and all were delicious! Our entire family had different varieties of the steak that you can cook yourself on the volcano stone. It was great food, entertaining and fun! We will definitely be back!

Grilling your steak-on-a-stone is a fun and unique experience. I recommend you slice up your steak and put butter and salt on the volcanic stone and then grill it (a do it yourself Ruth's Chris). The quality of the meat is good but not great. The atmosphere is great if you are seated in the back room (the wine room);... More

Definitely one of our favorite places! We enjoy going for a fantastic meal or just to meet friends for some tasty appetizers and drinks. Wait staff is great! We love R J.

Due to the large hype about how amazing the food can be here, and the experience of cooking your own steak at your table on a rock at 750 plus degrees-it understandable why it would be busy on the weekends. We had 4 couples who planned to have dinner here on Valentines Day, knowing that, one of the couples made... More

I went with my husband as our first date since the birth of our son. We ordered the steaks on the hot rocks that you cook yourself. We have done this twice before on cruise ships. The steaks were very good, and so was the rest of the food! Our food came out quickly, as you are the one to... More

I have been here a couple of times and each visit was finished with a meal I will not soon forget. Good family environment as well as a nite out with my significant other that was treated respectfully by the staff.

We visited Black Rock on 1/22 for a large business dinner of about 25 people. Danielle our waitress was attentive, helpful and fun to interact with. The food (Filet & Lobster) was incredible and the quality superb. Everyone enjoyed the experience and I highly recommend this bar & grill to anyone wanting a unique steak experience.

At 7 o'clock on a Friday night we arrived for my daughter's birthday dinner. We had made reservations a week earlier for 11 people. When we arrived the hostess said 'I'm sorry we have no reservation for you.' When we explained our situation a young man at the front desk said "Let me see what I can do". Luck or... More
