Funky joint on the water. Looks like a place you would find on the drive to Key West. That's what makes this place work. We have gone by boat several times this summer. It is nice to have a place to grab a bite to eat. The food however is average, at best, bar food. Burgers, fries etc. Nothing to... More

The food here is nothing to rave about, mostly fast things tossed into a deep fryer. Not much on offering a decent meal, just junk that you can get in any bar. Brown's is my favorite seasonal destination on the water, and it keeps getting better. This is an established, rustic place with "character". The docks are well-maintained, the deck has been expanded in recent years, and the staff numbers have increased by a few. For food, the Madison Burger is the old standby. I ventured away from that a few times... More

Browns is a mid American Diner with a difference. Tucked away down a creek it caters for not only the gas guzzling motor trade, but also those arriving by water from their holiday shacks. The food is great, staff friendly, especially the gals, but watch out for the locals. The evening trade can be lively with the local budding musical... More
