Funky joint on the water. Looks like a place you would find on the drive to Key West. That's what makes this place work. We have gone by boat several times this summer. It is nice to have a place to grab a bite to eat. The food however is average, at best, bar food. Burgers, fries etc. Nothing to... More

The food here is nothing to rave about, mostly fast things tossed into a deep fryer. Not much on offering a decent meal, just junk that you can get in any bar. I wish they had a better menu, so I was disappointed in the offerings. The restaurant itself is okay, service was mediocre and slow, and as another reviewer... More

Brown's is my favorite water bar to go to by boat. There are plenty of wells for your boat but make sure you get there by 5pm on a busy weekend in the summer or you will end up waiting a while for a boat to leave. The bloody mary bars are rocking on Sat-Sun and the food is good.... More

We went there last week and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table because the staff was tired!!! The table we got was empty from the time we arrived but the hostess told us they since the weather was nice the staff was very tired and they told her to hold off on seating people. The food lacked... More

Brown's is my favorite seasonal destination on the water, and it keeps getting better. This is an established, rustic place with "character". The docks are well-maintained, the deck has been expanded in recent years, and the staff numbers have increased by a few. For food, the Madison Burger is the old standby. I ventured away from that a few times... More

Browns is a mid American Diner with a difference. Tucked away down a creek it caters for not only the gas guzzling motor trade, but also those arriving by water from their holiday shacks. The food is great, staff friendly, especially the gals, but watch out for the locals. The evening trade can be lively with the local budding musical... More
