Old-Fashioned Restaurant Fun

Agree with the brochure from Boyne Highlands - great pizza and friendly staff! Would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

We ate here for a late lunch last week while on a trip to Petoskey. - They close from 2:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon to get ready for supper. We came in right before 2:30 and they were very kind & welcoming. - - I had a sandwich which was very good, and our kids ordered pizza which was... More

Enjoyed a great lunch with family at this little café. Good food. Reasonable price. Quaint atmosphere. Heard it was a great location for breakfast and pizza as well although we didn't partake. Would go back.

I'm a once a year turkey guy, (Thanksgiving) but there are several other choices available. My wife loves the turkey sandwich. I appreciate the zapper,no mayonnaise. Enjoy with Italian dressing on the side instead. Coke products too, a rarity" up north" . Fun little place. ..see you there! Really good pizza too but we're always there too early.

After a day of skiing, we ordered from Turkeys and really enjoyed it. The crust is awesome and the service was quick and attentive. We met Turkey who is getting ready to celebrate his 30th anniversary! Congrats. We will return to Turkey's when we come back in the summer! Great Pizza!

I try to stop in here for lunch or dinner every time I am in the area (same is true for a few places in Petoskey). I enjoy the rustic atmosphere that reminds me of restaurants, pizzerias and sandwich shops of my youth. Although this venue is limited by size as to seating arrangements, on the whole it is a... My husband and I were looking for a restaraunt to have a light lunch before we continued on our road trip. We arrived about 1:00, the restaraunt wasn't full and we were told to sit anywhere. This is a small venue not a place for large parties. We sat down and looked at the menu decided on our choices and... More

We went to Turkeys for a take out pizza based on a tip from a couple we met on a tour we took. We ordered the chicken pesto pizza. I thought the crust was good but the pizza was a little bland. Might have been better with some feta cheese. Little on the expensive side but we expected that from... More

Stopped here for lunch at the recommendation of our Innkeeper (Deer Head Inn @ Mackinaw City). Was not disappointed! Walked right in at 12noon and got a table. Service was a bit spotty, but, pizza was most excellent! Welcoming atmosphere with cheery decor! Name has nothing to do with 'turkey' per se .... It's a nickname of the owner, coined... More
