My husband often orders the perch, stacked high on a mountain of crisp haystack potatoes. Delicious! On our last visit I indulged in the cream puff dessert - can't... More

This was the second time I came here with my family. I got the petite surf and turf which was pretty good. I have had better steaks, but it was a nice meal. The calamari appetizer did not seemed to be cooked all the way through. The ambience is a little off. It is trying to be upscale but I... More

Décor was very Newport, R.I. Felt like I was on a romantic New England vacation in this cozy little Grosse Pointe restaurant. Service from the minute we arrived was very impressive. The hostess went out of her way to take care of us and the waitress (Lori) was fantastic. Tuna Appetizer was really yummy as were both our salads. Our... More

Today I had the Maurice salad for lunch. i often have the Asian lettuce Wrap or the BLT with sugar cured bacon. The menu for lunch offers impressive entries or smaller meals. I am never disappointed . The service is nice and I never feel rushed. It is a quiet space very conducive to catching up with friends.

My parents love this place, and having grown up in Michigan I sum it up in one word... Perch! The atmosphere was really nice too. I'll bet a local favorite.
