Went to The Winter Inn with a friend on a stormy Saturday evening. Wish I could remember the server's name because she was awesome. I do recall she had a small tattoo on her wrist! Haha! She was super friendly and informative about the specials and menu and she was always smiling. I hope the tip helped her realize that... More

We love the Winter Inn! Never have we had a bad meal. We usually enjoy the atmosphere with food and drink on the bar side of the restaurant. In the summer we enjoy the patio, weather permitting, of course. The service is usually good! Occasionally, it is less than satisfactory! Recently they have had a major turn over in wait... More

My wife and I went on a Thursday evening, and the special was all you can eat fish. We both got the special, and it was fabulous! Top that off with a big Guinness draft, excellent service by our waitress, and this is one deal that can't be beat!

Our first time here, we dined with another couple that love Winter Inn and bragged it up all week long. Our dinner reservations were at 7pm. We were seated by seven. It appeared to be a highschool dance night as several young kids were seated throughout the restaurant. Our server was NOT at all interested in having ANOTHER table that... More

We went to this not-so-little place in a little town, NE of Grand Rapids, choosing to use a Groupon on a Saturday night. We went with minimal expectations. This was our first time at this place. We were pleasantly surprised. Taken a little aback when we first walked it, you must walk through a bar/grill area to reach the finer... More

Went here to try the restaurant side. Was sitting next to the fireplace on the restaurant but could hear the bar side yelling and loud music. Food took over 40 minutes to arrive even though we were the first customers sitting that night. Best thing I had was the pumpkin soup. I would try again but it will be awhile.

The old hotel looked quaint but did not find it exceptional by any means. High prices goes with the atmosphere but food just warm should not . Service was ok but the food is not worth the price.

First time in Greenville and looking for a local type place. It doesn't look like too much from the outside. The bar area and small restaurant have a wonderful vintage aura to them. The people were warm and friendly and the food was delicious. We ate walleye, spinach salad, chicken cordon blue and ribs. Everyone raved about their flavors. Lots... More

This place is a old hotel/ restaurant. The decor is very nice, includes a lot of old pictures. The meals were very good, steak was done to perfection, prime rib was very tasty.. We got a carafe wine for a price that was not over board and it tasted very good.. Then we topped it off with a great dessert... More
