My wife and I chose 616 for their diverse menu featuring local foods. I'd eaten at the restaurant once before and found it to be excellent. This time around, it was even better! Kudos to the staff!

I can definitely see how a nice day and a drink on the deck would bring people to six.one.six. Other than that, I don't get it. My husband and I went for our anniversary the other day. They started off on the wrong foot with us by bringing our entrees 5 minutes after the appetizer, then cleared our appetizer plates/utensils... More

Nice location on the river. Good food. If you have kids, the service is compromised for some reason. Cater to more mature audiences.

A little over priced but it's a really nice place to grab a drink on the river. Our waiter was nice even though he forgot one drink out of our 5 person order, and it took about 15 min to get it. I'm not sure if I would eat here again. Once might be enough.

Stayed at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids for a few nights. My girlfriend and I had drinks on the river each night. The sounds of the river are quite peaceful and the service was amazing. On Sunday morning we had brunch in the Six-One-Six restaurant. It was more expensive than I had hoped, yet the quality of the food... More

The hotel is wonderful, but the restaurant is mediocre at best. We met friends there for lunch because it was convenient for everyone. My salad was OK, but my wife's falafel was a soggy lump and she ate almost none of it. There are plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance, so I would recommend you skip this one... Had 'amuse bouche' which was very cute, spicy and sweet pineapple with salsa. Appetiser we shared smoked salmon, it's not thin like traditional Scots smoked salmon but still a really good texture and flavour, the skin of the salmon could have been more crispy. Main course, I had lamb which was so perfect, first time ever I have had proper... More

Usually I try to find restaurants outside of the hotel when traveling but we got in late and decided to just eat in the hotel. We had a great meal. We got the truffle fries for the family to share as a starter and they were fabulous. For our main courses we got the rainbow trout, filet and flat bread.... More

The food was excellent. Not a huge menu, but there should be something for most people. It also had a decent amount of local selections.

We stayed at the JW, and went down for breakfast on our last day. The atmosphere is fun, the staff was excellent, but we waited at least 30 minutes for our food. It was worth it in the end (hello to the biggest omelet I've ever seen) but kind of annoying if you want to get your day started, or... More
