Description: Blue Water Grill is a breath of fresh air with unique Frank Lloyd Wright...
Blue Water Grill is a breath of fresh air with unique Frank Lloyd Wright inspired architecture, a stunningly massive fireplace, and some of the best water views in West Michigan. This is all made possible with large glass walls, inspired design and, quite possibly, the most impressively beautiful deck in the city. And that's just the atmosphere. Blue Water Grill continues The Gilmore Collection tradition of decidedly inspired food with a collection of satisfying influences including Italian, Mediterranean and classic American. All the traditional favorites are accounted for with a wide variety of wood-fired pizzas, seafood, steaks, salads, sandwiches and more. The menu and surroundings are perfect for the most intimate or social of dining experiences.

Good root chips and bread pudding!

We started with the root chips which are a favorite. I had the superfood sauté which was good. I had the white chocolate bread pudding for dessert which was very good. Marne our server was amazing.

Our daughter recently moved to Grand Rapids and we have come in on occasion trying different restaurants. The Blue Grill was a recommendation and we were very pleased. Great view, good service and wonderful food. While there we discovered this was part of the Gilmore group of establishments and we've consistently had great experiences in their properties. They serve warm... More

i dined with two others and none of us thought our meal was above average. Expensive for what you get. To add a piece of salmon to my salad cost $10. Our service was slow and to get a refill on your coffee you had to wave the waitress down. Very disappointed on this visit.

This restaurant has the unique menu with lots of wonderful selections to choose from. It can be noisy so if you want a quiet place this isn't. I loved the lobster bisque and also the white chicken chili, which is the finest I ever had. Service is good, and atmosphere is modern. The view of the water is nice and... More

This is always a great go to for yummy food. My daughter and best friend are both gluten free and Blue Water has some great options. The fireplace in the winter is warm and inviting. Always great service and on your birthday, you get a free meal!! The Margarita Pizza is delicious and very filling. There is also plenty of... More

Having just spent a 'couple of checks' at Cannonsburg Ski Shop, my wife and I stopped at the Blue Water Grill for lunch. We were seated quickly and the waitress took our drink orders. Both of us went for the 'Pick Two.' My wife went with the Wood Smoked Turkey and Beet Salad; I went with the Wood Smoked Turkey... More

It had been awhile since I had been to the Blue Water Grill and since I had a Christmas gift card for them, I decided to give them another try. What a surprise, the food I ordered was great. I choose the "Pick 2 Combo for $10", For a soup I picked "Lobster Bisque", one of my Blue Water Grill... More

Fireplace, huge windows facing the water, and easy parking go along with an eclectic menu. Service is attentive and friendly. Unique renditions of traditional plates: my whitefish sandwhich had cole slaw and tarter sauce between a yummy pretzel bun....the fish was lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. They adjusted ingredients on my friend's thin crust pizza without hesitation and it... More

I had a late lunch/ early dinner here, with three friends. It was my last night in Grand Rapids and they wanted to take me to a special place. The food was superb, as was the service. The clam chowder was especially delicious. This is definitely on my list of restaurants to visit on my return to Grand Rapids.

Have eaten here several times and always enjoy the setting on the lake. This time the food was ok but soup not hot and touted home mad "blue chips" clearly not up to par. Asked the waiter about the chips and he said that they started cutting them thinner and he has heard a number of complaints. So don't order... More
