Overlooking the brewing facilities, our Taproom allows customers a look into where the beer magic happens. It’s a great testing ground for us, and on any particular day you will find numerous products on draft available only at Founders. The unique offering of specialty beers, the laid back atmosphere, and thrice-weekly live music has helped to make our Taproom a staple in the Grand Rapids community and a destination for travelers.

Always Great Beer

Love Founders beer, but can it really be called a microbrewery anymore? We went back after a visit a couple of years ago and it is a million times bigger than it was. Still amazing beer. Really great band playing.

I truly believe that we came here at the wrong time. It was a lovely summer weekend evening and everyone in the state of Michigan seemed to be here. It was very crowded. It was hard to find seating. The lines at the bars and food station were long. We did grab a drink, the beer was good, but drank... More

We came here for lunch during the work-week and since we were on vacation, we had a flight of 5 beers as well, which ended up being perfect for the two of us. The food was pretty amazing. One couple got there early to grab us a seat, which I thought was silly when we got there at noon but... More

Varied, tasty selection of quality beers. Plenty of (pedal) bike racks. Great place for a bike ride pit stop. Variety of deli style sandwiches. Comfortable, easy going, relaxed vibe.

We stopped for lunch on a Sunday as we passed through GR since we had heard great things. My husband wasn't too impressed with the beer. I wasn't impressed with the over 45 min wait to get our food nor that they messed up my son's order and put something he is allergic to on his sandwich even though it... More

My favorite brewery in Michigan has a great tap house. I like all their beer and the sandwiches are good too. There are limited beers on tap and they fill growlers. The atmosphere is great and they bring in live bands. Love the outdoor space.

If you know beer then this is a must visit place even just to sample the beers. If you are a novice beer drinker then it's a must visit for the patio and great value with good food too. Get there early. The locals love this place too. Beautiful spot... enjoy!

3 of us went here when we came to grand Rapids for national cheer competition. The waitress we had wish I could remember her name was awesome she asked what kind of flavors we liked and then gave her recommendations and brought us samples of different beers. If you go try the beer that kind of tastes like grapefruit it... More

Great beer, great food! We went on a Saturday and it was busyyy. Yet the bar staff were very efficient. Parking about a block away for $3/day was super!

Found the only table left, Got there just before they started charging a $5 cover. The only service was for drinks. You had to go stand in line to order food and then when your buzzer went off you had to go get it yourself. The wait in the food line was about 20 minutes. Sandwiches were just ok.
