My local friend told me that this is one of the hottest places in town and I can see why. Only pros list needed here. Pros: 1. First and foremost, the beers are excellent. They are expanding fast and I am seeing their brews in Jersey now. This summer I became a fan of their Rubeus. 2. The building is... More

Went on a Saturday about noon. Nice bar area but sat outside. Great patio area. Very good beer choices and not bad prices. Wife had the 5 sampler all were very good. Food menu was good. There were 6 of us and everything looked and tasted very good. Service was good for being at lunch time. Wanted to do tour... More

I'd walk across broken glass in bare feet for a Kentucky Bourbon Stout, which Founders rolls out in limited quantities once a year. Founders is one of the nation's best craft brewers. They have a range of top, top beers. Drop in the tap room, and you can confirm that yourself. The room itself is large, hip and fun. A... More

Wow. Great beer. It took me about 20 minutes to whittle the massive list of delicious-looking sandwiches down to the one I would order. My wife and I split 2 and both were excellent. I would come back here any day.

First visit of the evening was founders, was pretty busy ,service was excellent when you consider we walked in with 40 people. Tried a couple of their craft beers which I really enjoyed. Our group had a great time at a great venue.

A trip to Founders is an absolute must for anyone who enjoys craft beer. It should be no surprise to anyone familiar with Founders that the beer at the tap room is fantastic. On the menu are several of Founders standard offerings, including, Red's Rye, Dirty B@stard, Centennial IPA, and Curmudgeon Old Ale, just to name a few. Also on... More

Went on the brewery tour given by one of the founders of Founders. Had a great time asking questions. The restaurant has several beers that are currently being made including some that are only available on-site. If you want to sample, go with the 5 ounce sample glasses. Beers are priced in groups rather than individually.

Stopped for some beer samples and a sandwich. Very impressed by the size(700+ capacity) and the "seat your self". Tables were spread out enough for that "no cramped" feeling. Parking is a bit of a challenge though. :) Had the "Grandwich" July special and it was one heck of a sandwich. Beers were so-so with Dirty B. being the best... More

We started our bar hopping weekend in Grand Rapids at Founders Brewing Company. It was so fun and we were by far the oldest people in the bar. We were a group of forty-somethings and we were surrounded by twenty-somethings but we still had a great time. The bar has indoor space with a stage for music, a long bar... More

This place was not at all what I expected. The restaurant spans a hug area with different seating styles including covered porch, exposed outdoor, high-tops, and family-style tables. We didn't realize that you ordered like a deli and that kids needed to be out by 9. Nevertheless, we enjoyed every bit of it. Adults and kids both enjoyed their meals... More
