Overlooking the brewing facilities, our Taproom allows customers a look into where the beer magic happens. It’s a great testing ground for us, and on any particular day you will find numerous products on draft available only at Founders. The unique offering of specialty beers, the laid back atmosphere, and thrice-weekly live music has helped to make our Taproom a staple in the Grand Rapids community and a destination for travelers.

My husband and I were in Grand Rapids and decided to give Founders a try. It is a very large, loud place. We were not familiar with their way of serving on Sunday afternoons, but the server soon shared with us that you place your food order at the food window and he would take our drink order. We picked... More

If you are a craft beer fan, then this is the place for you! The huge tap room is busy, loud and full of beer drinking fans quaffing lots of delicious pints of Founders brew. We were lucky to find two seats at the bar, which I would recommend for fast and informative service. Although we watched many fine looking... More

Great brews, many varieties, some are seasonal. Very loud for polite conversations, but worth the flavors. KBS would be a fav, but so limited. Just go & enjoy!!

A number of my friends and I stopped for a few before the hockey game and eat. I like the centennial and dirty Bastd ale. I was disappointed the All day was not available. It seems to be just their main line brews which are good though. I had the Nam NomNom sandwich. It was out of this world. It... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our taproom! I'm happy to hear that your and your party enjoyed your pre-hockey game visit and found some space by the fire pits to warm up. We hope to see you again soon! More

Founders brews some of the best beer I have ever had. Thier Dirty "B" (a Scottish Ale) is amazing. Awesome selection of specialty sandwiches at reasonable prices.

Founders has great beers, wide selection. It you don't care about ambience, you'll like this place. Don't try to carry on conversation, because it is nice & loud.

My wife and I stopped by after a tour of other breweries in GR and were glad we did as it was Firkin Fest. We enjoyed the funky brews that were part of the fest but really enjoyed the Nitro Pale Ale inside the brewery. We also had a chance to try their roast beef sandwich and it was very... More

I tried several beers and didn't find one that I loved, but there were a couple that were okay. The sandwich I had was very good.

Yes the food is good,it is busy and its hard to get a table at peak times(their peak time is all the time),but worth the wait.Even better is the beer ,in my mind the best in the country.Lots of choices, from mild to wild.If your in Michigan let alone Grand Rapids a true destination. After all we are BEER CITY USA.
