This was our first visit to Roses's with family who live in town and love Reed Lake. We sat in the glass paneled room overlooking the lake. You can't get a better view! The restaurant has several fireplaces which gives it a cozy atmosphere. My husband orded the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. He complimented the bread used for... More

Thank you for checking out our Restaurant. It has such a beautiful looking out of the lake year round. If you liked the little kick, you should try our Spicy Chicken Enchiladas. They too have a nice little kick. Our Cranberry Turkey sandwich is also a specialty. Hope you stop back in soon. More

This is one of my most FAVORITE spots to relax with Friends! Quiet, on the deck...you can put your toes in Reed's Lake if you want! Love sitting under an umbrella in the Summer and watching the Sailboats! The food is Excellent and unique. This place has so much interesting "history", if you "google" it...it's worth the visit to be... More

It is just as great sitting next the fire watching the leaves change color and fall this time of year too. Now that the road construction is finished, we have lots more parking on the street and in our lot too. Hope you stop back in soon. Thank you! More

More or less stumbled across Rose's while driving about for brunch on a Sunday. A long line at our intended destination sent us into East Grand Rapids. What a magnificent treat we had at Rose's. The brunch menu included farm to table choices fit for a foodie and beautifully plated. The regular menu was also available and the food choices... More

The view and setting is beautiful. The service was good. The menu looks and sounds good, but my husband and I both ordered a dinner - I got salmon and he got walleye. The vegetables that came with were turnips and root vegetables and were hard. The potatoes were hard. The fish was good, though. Looking around, we realized we... More

Rose's is an utterly charming restaurant whose corporate cookicutter food does not live up to the space in which it is served. It's a real shame because it has so much potential.

I've lived in the Grand Rapids area over thirty years and can't believe I've never been to Rose's. It's somewhat of a landmark here. Stopped by for lunch with another couple. We sat on the patio overlooking the lake on a beautiful fall day. Arrived about 11:30 and were seated immediately. No problem. By the time we left there was... More

Wanting to avoid the crowds downtown due to Art-Prize we decided on Roses. This is the second time we have been to Roses. Food is just as good as last time. The wait for a table was 1.5-2 hours - and we chose first avail for a table of two. Lucky for us we ended up being seated on the... More

Couldn't have been happier with their seasonal menu. The atmosphere was abuzz with energy from the other patrons...however, the overall experience was one of quaint relaxation and serenity. I was happy to find a non-alcoholic Ginger Beer...a unique addition to the menu...and enjoyed it with my dinner. Service was good, food was good, but to view of Reed's Lake can't... More
