Rose's trancendently combines many individually unique facets to create a richly complete dining experience. Whether it's the storied history of the location, the beautiful lakeside location, the gorgeous new three season deck, our fiercely loyal customers or the award quality food, Rose's speaks to almost anyone on some emotional level. The menu draws its inspiration from a multitude of influences including Mediterranean, Italian, and Casual American. The air of community and contentment is present abound, as you'll lazily gaze upon sail boats and picnickers in the park as you enjoy the best food and atmosphere Grand Rapids has to offer. Don't miss out on the magic that is Rose's.

Everything I've had there is very good, including the drinks. During the summer, overlooking the water, is especially nice. The service and food are always reliably good! I highly recommend it.

This is by far my most favorite place to eat. I've never had a bad meal. The hamburgers and Turkey burgers are amazing, no need to add condiments....in fact I highly recommend you don't. The wood fire pizzas are very tasty. And they bring a little treat at the end of your meal. I don't want to give it all... More

My dinner at Rose's was the first of two mediocre meals in Grand Rapids. I can't comment on the lake view - I'm sure it is lovely, but on a cold night in early March it just seemed like more frozen tundra. So let's talk about food. I ordered the pork chop - what it said on the menu was:... More

It's been a while since I visited any of the Gilmore establishments - but we decided this afternoon to stop at Roses on Reeds Lake and have a very enjoyable meal. Our server was outstanding and enthusiastic about the menu's offerings. We sat in the "covered patio" section, which offers a great overview of the lake. Now we're looking forward... More

We went out with some friends on Friday the 13th. The hottest was rude and seemed very angry. However, our waiter Derek was fantastic. He provided great service at the bar. We ordered a wood fired pizza because the appetizers were a little limited. The pizza was good. We were seated for dinner the view is fantastic... the general feel... More

We visited Rose's on Reed Lake for lunch and found such a pleasant surprise. The servers were welcoming and friendly. The view of Reed Lake, although ice covered was gorgeous and we watched a graceful ice skater on the small ice rink that was cleared off. We were told that usually kids come to play ice hockey too. The menu... More

The Goat Cheese Fondue sauce. Whatever you do, try something with this sauce. You will not regret it! We had the turkey cranberry sandwich. It was fantastic. We had asked to split the sandwich and the kitchen split it for us. Our waitress brought out two plates with the sides on each plate. Presentation was awesome! The cozy/warm enclosed porch... More

i stopped in to buy $300 in gift certificates, it took over 20 min and the girl insisted she take my credit card while CI waited. Rose's sits on the shores of Reeds Lake. Now we visited in the dead of winter with snow everywhere and it was still a beautiful setting. Can hardly image how pretty it would be in the spring, summer and fall. Our food was superb. We had the Calamari Fries, Tomato Soup (that days special) and the Gorgonzola Tournedos of Beef.... More

I've eaten at Rose's a handful of times and always enjoyed it. The building is unique and right on Reeds Lake in the picture book place of East Grand Rapids (former home of President Ford). This place can get quite busy. There are a lot of one income households in EGR and therefore when they aren't volunteering, taking a hot... More
