On a recent trip to Grand Rapids we chose to have dinner at The Green Well based largely on other Trip advisor reviews. Our server, April, was very accommodating and very knowledge about the beer and food options. We chose both the BBQ pulled pork with sweet corn polenta and brisket sandwich based on her recommendations. Both were just delicious.... More

This is a great spot to come for a good drink and great meal. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and funny. The music was great (a lot of great 80's songs). My friends and I only come to Grand Rapids once a year and have decided this will be the spot we eat for dinner when we... More

A party of four, after work, and all from out of town. A tough time deciding amongst the various items on the eclectic, yet somehow familiar menu. All the items seemed to have something different than the usual. Jambalaya, yes; topped with a salmon filet, not so common. Pulled pork, yes; over cheese grits, not so often. Etc., etc., ...

The Green Well Gastro Pub is a great place for lunch, dinner, or a late night sandwich. (It is nice to have a good place for food after 9 in GR) The Green Well has a great assortment of wines and craft beersand a few hard ciders as well. The food lineup is really good...my son and I recently stopped... More

This was my first time here, but I went with my dad who had the Chicken and waffles before and said they were great, so that's what I got and I agree. They use some carmelized sauce which pairs well with both. My dad got something with quinoa and pork and it was a lot better than mine. Wish I... More

I wanted to add something, I love the food here but I also want to stress that the take out here is really good. Consistently. It is correct and packaged well. I especially love the Harvest salad. And if you like to add on grilled chicken or shrimp, the Green Well's is excellent!

Love the posole. I have it almost every time I go there to eat. Don't go there for intimacy and quiet conversation. This place is always hopping and it's worthy of the wait. Not a beer drinker but heard raves from the table next to us! So quaff your beer, gets some great food, artsy atmosphere and clean well appointed... More
