5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2014 NEW

The best thing about Leo's is that the staff will go out of their way to make your meal memorable. Helpful things to know--there is plenty of room between tables, so even if it's full, it is possible to have a business/serious conversation at dinner. The menu is mostly fixed, so there are not a lot of specials, but all... More

Brother in law recommended this restaurant for dinner and we are so glad he did! From the minute we walked in the service was perfect. They made sure to notify us as soon as a high top was available. Brooke was our waitress and she did a great job. Very attentive and had good suggestions. We ended up getting a... More

Leo's is one of our favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids. Good wine selection and a nice variety of fish & seafood on the menu; multiple preparation options, too. The food is always excellent and the service is top-notch. Writing this review makes me want to go eat there tonight!

Leo's has an excellent reputation. Maybe that's why, after dining here, I was a bit underwhelmed. First, the service was excellent. The ambience of the restaurant is very upscale without being overly trendy. However, none of my courses were the best thing I had ever eaten. Perhaps it was just my selections, but I didn't think any of it was... More

Fresh swordfish was really great, and was a pretty large serving. I really enjoyed the vegetable sides and the chowder. Attentive, friendly service. A little pricey, but worth it.

We have eaten at Leo's many times, and it is consistently great! Great food ... great service ... great ambience. Whether you have a large group, or just a couple, Leo's will always be a great choice for lunch or dinner.

Leo opened this restaurant when the one he had managed was bought out by a chain and quality fell. All the fish is fresh. Seafood is to die for. Even the beef dishes are good. The atmophere is elegant, but not arrogant. Service is superb. Considering the quality, the portions are very large. Desserts are Heaven. No wonder it has... More
