Accidentally found Pal's and glad we did!

Don't judge it so harshly in terms of ambience. The food is so good it really makes the experience worth the decor compromise! Hands down hubby & I decided they have the best Pakora we have ever had! FYI (My hubby is Indian and has travelled the world) It was made in such a way that it was a... read more

We happened to be there w/ a group of men (maybe 10) seated at a large table in another room. We kept joking that maybe they were mafia. ;) The place was casual, yet nice enough; certainly The place was not fancy, but also not run down. The food was good enough to come back, yet not to the can't-live-w/o-it... More

Our intent was to eat at the Shiraz Grille off 28th street but we were turned away as reservations were needed on this Saturday evening. (something to note if you plan to eat there). So we needed to find a place to eat. We saw Pals as we drove back down 28th toward the E.Beltline and decided to check it... More

Few occasions we have done on premise dinning, and enjoyed every thing. Other Occasions, we have catered the food for more than 50 guests, it was genuine Punjabi Food and every body enjoyed.

I had a hankering for Indian food before a long road trip and so I went to Pals for the lunch buffet. Waiter was friendly and efficient, so off to a good start. The place is basic, even run down, but I eat at stalls in Asia so the ambience, even cleanliness, is not important to me eating solo. Perfect... More

I visited this restaurant again in May this year and I was disappointed. Food quality has gone down drastically and is nowhere close to a normal Indian restaurant. We ordered tandoori rotis and they were Tortilla's in reality, hard to bite and nowhere close to roti. They actually gave me pain in my stomach. Curries didn't taste fresh and felt... More

We love the food here. The decor is real basic, but it's also a great place to visit friends because you can hear them without the clutter of music and busyness.

I have eaten at this restaurant twice. Once was take out, the tandoori chicken was very good. The vindaloo shrimp was so so, not enough shrimp, and the shrimp small. The second visit I at in, and everything was wonderful. Saag murg and aloo gobhi, both fresh and delicious. The decor is not great, but everything seemed to be clean.

We visited this Indian restaurant during thanksgiving holidays as I was craving for something authentic Indian during our visit to Michigan and it didn't let us down. Looks and interior deocoration are poor but didn't matter to us as we were there just for the good food so if you can ignore the looks and want something best in Indian,... More

The lamb vindaloo was quite tasty. The butter chicken was satisfactory, but not mind blowing. I think their prices are a bit lower than the other two options in town. If you occasionally crave Indian food, Pals will meet your needs.
