Expensive but excellent food! more

The food is very good, although seemd to have slipped a little from when it first opened. Still an excellent place to go with a group - the more people, the more tapas you can try. Drinks are good too but the sangria seems a little watered down at times. more

just okay for me. it's cool in a big group. paella is not the greatest, but they make a mean salad. Also, don't get the blue-cheese fritters cause they kinda taste bland and have an icky texture. more

As a long time resident of Grand Rapids, I was pleasantly surprised when San Chez arrived. It offers a unique dining experience and flavors that you can't find anywhere else in town. It's a fun night out. the food is okay. If you have ever been to Emilio's or Cafe Baba Reeba in Chicago it doesn't even compare but it's still fun. more
