I was waiting in line for my gyro, when the lady taking the order of the gentleman in front of began to have a charged political discussion with him. I felt uncomfortable and it was incredibly unprofessional. As for my gyro, it was meh. It wasn't terrible, but not something that would make me return. Besides, witnessing the behavior of... More

I went here for the shwarma and for some reason they used microwaved tandoori flavored chicken in my shwarma wrap. In my opinion it was a terrible combination. The friends that i went with liked what they got but i was really disappointed. I love shwarma!

This is my favorite place to get a gyro. I always order Sami's gyro and a piece of Baklava. Always tastes fantastic!

We went to the location on 28th street. Good food, but so rude. Every time we go there we feel like we are unwelcome, as if it is a burden to be ordering from them. The food is great though.

Eastown version is nice and low key. Good food and a neat neighborhood vibe. Love the gyros and the grocery selection of drinks.

Greek done right plus a great little store for Greek staples. Vegetarian Platter is awesome but I also sink my teeth into a Black & White Gyro from time to time with a side of Dolma (stuffed grape leaves). We always get the Falafel no matter what!

Restaurant style, casual, large portions, middle-of-the-road Mediterranean food. Their hummus is above average.

First of all, even though the place seems to usually be busy around lunchtime and almost every other time I've been by it, the owner is as sour as a jar of expired Lebanese turnips. Really. Has anyone else noticed this? You'd think with your business obviously thriving in todays economy the guy would at least crack a smile once... More

Went to the 28th St. location near closing time and were treated by the woman in charge like it was a nuisance to serve us (we ordered a gyro and a pre-made salad.....nothing too labor intenstive). Wasn't told until our food was ready that we would have to take it "to go." If we had been told that upfront then... More

I don't care what a restaurant looks like, as long as its clean and has good food. Sami's has the best Gyro outside of Greek Town. All their food is terrific. I wish that they all did the wrapping the correct way. If wrapped correctly they do not fall apart. But in the end best gyro in town! We eat... More
