We were pleansantly surprised to find a cute place with yummy food. Most is home cooked & they offer a varied menu.
This restaurant is either very good or very disappointing depending on the time of day and kitchen staff on duty. When the head chef is working, the food is great. When he is not overseeing the kitchen, the food can be dry, overcooked and NOT prepared in any way the way it was ordered. The waitress was extremely indifferent about... More
Great food and service at the Cheshire Grill. The bacon is REALly good. The breakfast potatoes might have been the highlight. We enjoyed a buffet they put together for Mother's Day. Everyone loved it and the waitress, owner, and executive chef we're all friendly and gave it a family feel. I recommend it for anyone in the Grand Rapids area... More
I had lunch on 5/18/13 and was very disappointed. Service was poor and food had a menu way to big for them to handle. Lets keep it simple.
We loved the bkf the home made hash was great the bread ( tomato something) was melt in your mouth. The staff was great the prices were a little high but well worth it..
Saw the review on trip advisor. We are always looking for a great breakfast spot, and one that is not so crowded and cramped. Cheshire Grill is our new favorite place. Light, spacious, cheery, and clean. The staff greeted us right away and our server Sam was great through the whole meal. They pay attention to all the details. Great... More
Great home cooked food for reasonable prices is hard to find! The warm and friendly atmosphere is very welcoming! I have been there with friends, family, clients, and business groups. Each time the food was hot and delivered fresh and the staff was friendly. It is a great place to eat, they have been consistent with greatness each time we... More
Met some girlfriends here for breakfast. I hadn't been here since the new owners had remodeled. The food was fabulous, and the potatoes were to die for! Friendly service; they knew my friend's usual by heart. This place is much larger than it looks from the outside and the decor is diner style. I will be back with my husband.
Saw a Facebook pic of the food here, and stopped in the very next morning. Had the Homemade carrot cake French toast - awesome for u sweet lovers. I had the Cheshire grin - eggs Benedict. Super yummie. The food is local, the prices are great! Some of the dishes like the French toast could be easily split. This is... More
Has the feel of a small home town diner but it's even better - the food is fresh, great and presented very well by the wonderful staff. Eric and his crew have let the RPOA use his back dining room for breakfast there every Friday morning and it's the best place we've ever had for this event (and we've tried... More
