Great local beer in a unique setting. Brewery is on the site of an old funeral home and still has the stained glass windows and extras. Great French fries for appetizers!
OK, I know where all of the extras from Lord of the Rings are working now...Here. Honestly, everyone here has that "hipster or homeless?" thing going on. Everyone. So, the burgers really are the best thing on the menu. We've tried to love this place and we don't. I ordered the porchetta, which was described as "crispy." It was like... More
Went here with some friends and family. It was actually late on a Saturday night. Waiter was great, sense if humor and knowledgable. Had some beers, got the prosciutto appetizer, awesome. Had a burger, awesome! Give the cooks a tip for $8, they get a 4-pack for the road. Very unique place, used to be a monastery. Put on your... More
My most recent visit was for a few beers in the courtyard outdoor seating area. Big Picnic table seating lends itself to a easy going feel. Not exactly a quiet private place to drink and converse, but a fun atmosphere and seriously good beer.
Wonderfully hand crafted brews accompanied by a menu of creative, mouthwatering apps. Decadent Duck Nachos were divine
We did not have food. We had a sampler of the beers. They werent all of our taste, but it was obvious they were well done. Our favorite was the double ipa. The bartender was attentive, friendly and professional. It looks to be in an old church, with a beautiful stained glass window behind the bar. They also had a... More
As I drove closer I was impressed by the old homes (mansions) that lined the street, but was not prepared for this place. It looks like an old the building appears to be relatively new construction, but completely in a style that's surprising - almost medieval. The food was very good, but a bit too gourmet for my tastes. But... More
The food menu is somewhat limited, but you owe it to yourself to stop by this brewery. The space is what attracted us - it's an old funeral chapel with the large bar comprising most of where an altar might be. We sat at the bar, but the whole space was great - long wooden tables down the middle as... More
people say it a old funeral home???? it looks to me like it is a old church.. but what ever!!!!! the beer and wine were good the soft pretzel's with the beer chesses, were very good we only had a appetizer but the burgers going by looked good .. lots of parking on the side or across the street
Tiny place and well worth the trip. Cool atmosphere, unpretentious place with just really good beer. The tour was great and lucky for us, they over poured the samples!
