Brewery Vivant's greatest triumph...

I might speak with great formality about the majesty of their duck confit nachos or numerous other delightful dishes. It would be easy to reminisce about the atmosphere that has brought my spirit to life several times within these walls. I could possibly tell you about each of the seven different... read more

I might speak with great formality about the majesty of their duck confit nachos or numerous other delightful dishes. It would be easy to reminisce about the atmosphere that has brought my spirit to life several times within these walls. I could possibly tell you about each of the seven different beers I've tried here. However, remembering and knowing and... More

Usually brew pubs are a standard above-average burger and they focus on the beer. At Brewery Vivant the food is every bit as good. Get the bread and the beer cheese appetizer... you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I visited in February after going to the Golf Show at DeVos. These two are not near each other but more than worth the extra driving time. Brewery Vivant is located in a great neighborhood near several other cute shops and restaurants. Once inside you're greeted by a hostess who, if she has the time, is usually... More

grabbed a round of beers prior to dinner. Can be difficult to get a seat, but my group was able to snag a couple of seats right at the bar. The building itself is interesting seeing as it used to be a funeral home. Very unique place with great beers!

Even the most ardent craft beer lover can not truly appreciate or judge Brewery Vivant without a trip to the source. Their selections that are distributed are certainly good, but they save the best of the best for in-house enjoyment at their historic facility. The in-house beer selection is out of this world and will please many palettes -- even... More

Beer and food were excellent. I loved the Big Red beer, hubby loved the pothole stout. Waitstaff were so friendly and provided great recommendations (we were first timers). Will definitely be back. This place is way better than Founders (very commercial and beer was not as good). Loved the old church atmosphere. Can't wait to return!

Brewery Vivant is set inside an old church - how funky is that. My wife and I visited as part of a GR beer tour so we also got to see the working brewery. The beer we had was all very good, but our favorite was the Undertaker. The Belgian yeast really added a creamy character to most of the... More

This place is pretty cool. Very neat inside. Our waitress, Raeann was incredible. So friendly and helpful.. Very knowledgeable about the restaurant, the beer and the food. I really liked the Pothole Stout. Very smooth and dark. The mussels were very good. Not spicy. The burgers looked delicious. My friend enjoyed hers very much. Has a great bacon sauce to... More

We had plans for the night but they fell through so we looked for an alternative for dinner. We tried to go to another local brewery but it was packed and there was no place to sit and there was some music being played but it wasn't to our liking. So we headed for the Brewery Vivant. Wasn't too difficult... More
