We go to the one downtown as well as the one on Alpine. For GR, this is good Tex-Mex, as good as Beltline Bar, but with a little less "dump" ambiance. The 'ritas are good (and large if you want them that way), the service is OK, and the portions are about right (not huge, but then, no one in... More

I've stopped in several time and generally the service is quick and friendly. Only once did it seem to take too long, however I was in a very large group (15 people) and the restaurant was packed at lunch. I would say, casual good Mexican food. Price is affordable. You can also get take out. If you are downtown for... More

Came here during Artprize and have been here many times before. Really great place with friendly staff and great food. A nice place for families, friends, even coming alone! Definitely plan to come back in the future.

The decor was inviting - brightly painted chairs, tables and booths. A large menu with a lot of the traditional "favorites" of the Tex-Mex style. Service was competent, though not inspired. Good salsa and chips. Main courses prepared adequately but not with inspiration. Not a bad place, just the ordinary of what would be expected in an average Mexican American... More

We stopped here for lunch because I wanted Mexican and this was close. The restaurant itself was cute, lots of decoration and bright colors. Service was friendly and fast which was nice. Our food was good enough. We got the taco salad and beef quesadilla. Both were a little watery and greasy, probably from the beef. Lunch portions were not... More

We love Mexican food and ate here. It was okay- not spectacular but the drinks are good, the food is well priced and the service was friendly.

Just won't go back to either..No one even smiles or gives good service. The atmosphere is a lot of hype for mediocre food and prices. Both have wonderful locations, but can't seem to get it right. Wouldn't recommend.

We have been here a couple times. It's a convenient place to go for Mexican downtown. This last time we were there for ArtPrize. It was busy but not quite full. We sat way in back which was actually kind of nice. Good food. Service is ok, We had problems with both our food and drink order. Overall I'd say... More

We were seated right away on a busy artprize Saturday. The restaurant is very bright and colorful. We got chips and salsa and the waitress was happy to refill those later. She was pretty attentive in terms of drinks. My husband got the arroz con pollo which he loved, but got sick of the rice later on. I got the... More

Stopped by - without reservations - on the Saturday night of ArtPrize and were seated in less than 10 minutes! The food - all around - was great, the service was even better. We had a 'late arrival' to our dinner event that we'd ordered for ... when he arrived, the server made an extra effort to make sure his... More
