Electric Cheetah has a funky, eclectic vibe in the dining area that complements the menu which is comfort food with unexpected twists. I went with a party of six at lunch time and the place was really busy so we separated into two groups as that shortened our wait time considerably. Lunch time menu has comfort foods, but with epicurean... More

What a fabulous surprise! The menu is unbelievable..... too many great things to choose from. I ordered the Reuben Gonzalez and it isn't your normal Reuben.....home made corned beef brisket roasted, red cabbage with dill and a bit of heat.... I couldn't stop eating.... it was TOO good. Also ordered at our table was the Mac&Cheese, soup, salad, pretzel sticks... More

Reallly: What I ordered was so good, I listened to my taste buds instead of my stomach, and kept going. This quinoa dish (I added the optional grilled chicken) is a mix of black beans, roasted Roma tomatoes, quinoa, cilantro and more, with smoked jalapeno dresing. And so incredibly filling. I might well return this week (I'm in town for... More

Except for the barely-warm soup, it was perfect! It is a Mecca for root-beer lovers! The food was unique and absolutely delicious!! If you are ever in Grand Rapids--this is a must-stop!!

I had lunch here a few years ago and thought it was good, but not memorable. What a difference! We had a fantastic dinner tonight. "Surrey with a Sausage on Top" had a perfect combination of flavors and textures - cabbage and squash were perfectly caramelized. "Squasharooni Mac & Cheese" was comfort food to the nth degree. I'm a HUGE... More

I was totally impressed with the menu, presentation and taste of my food. Out of the ordinary and thankfully different from boring chain restaurants. Will definitely return, so much to try on this menu. Delicious!

Local restaurant, with locally sourced food, as far as possible. It offers some comfort foods, often with more unusual ingredients, like goat cheese in the macaroni and cheese. Has beer, but also an extensive root beer menu. I can recommend any of the sandwiches. The menu changes often: they even had scrapple once !

If you're hankering for something different than you're run-of-the-mill burger, mexican, steak or italian place, the Electric Cheetah will not dissapoint! Their entrees are unique, surprising and delicious! The combinations of foods make it difficult to choose just one. If you have kids who are interested in the same-old stuff, thay may not like it, but for the adventurous, it's... More

As a born & raised Grand Rapids girl, I have been to my fair share of restaurants in the city. Electric Cheetah is one of my favorite go-to spots for anyone looking for fresh, funky and delicious food in a fun atmosphere. Besides outstanding food and great brews, Electric Cheetah has such a cool vibe, great artistic decor and kind,... More

Celebrated a birthday with family at this Grand Rapids Eatery. Although small, the pace is quick and the line to get in, even in winter, sort of sealed the deal regarding the value of the dining. The variety of dishes, wine parings, and flavors is great. This is not simply meat and potatoes folks. The staff was very pleasant. I'm... More
