Artsy environment, great food

The food is delicious, regardless of what you get. We particularly love their cinnamon buns and usually split one as an appetizer. The servers are great and it's always fun to check out the artwork while waiting for your meal.

Well I got out of work early today and decided to try out the morning star cafe. It was decent but $3.50 for orange juice is a little pricey, I ordered the blueberry oatmeal pancakes and all though they were very good, you only received a small cup of real Michigan maple syrup which you have to pay extra for... If you are looking a place to eat that's not your normal fast food breakfast; this is the place to go. Their blueberry oatmeal pancakes are great. A must try.

We went in for a late lunch in May and had a delightful experience. The decor and atmosphere was eclectic and electric. We didn't have to wait as we came after the lunch rush, but plan on waiting if you come at high time!! Food was delicious and served in a timely manner. Our server was courteous and attentive.

Excellent food and service. We frequent this cafe for breakfast and have never been disappointed. We order something different each time we go back, they have a wonderful variety, and we have enjoyed everything we have selected. The homemade cinnamon roles are delicious!

We mainly eat breakfast there, but their lunches are very good. Different items on their menu, all we've enjoyed.

Great and unique food choices but, they need organic/organic coffee. I think they have very good food but, very pricey if you eat alot. Portions are average size.

We read the traveladvisor reviews on the Morning Star Cafe and stopped in for lunch. Fantastic food and unique decoration - - very popular so expect plenty of company. Very well managed with attentive staff.

This is a Great place to visit in Grand Haven! A fun eclectic menu and great service. But be aware on weekends you may have to wait a bit. but you can visit The Bookman right next door!

Sunday breakfast was delicious in a fun, uniquely decorated bustling spot. Waitstaff were extremely friendly and efficient. My marbled cornbread egg scramble was delish and complimented by the gingerbread pancake with maple syrup. We enjoyed the Southwest artwork and Fiesta plate mosaic accents throughout the restaurant. We will definitely come back for another visit. And be sure to stop at... More
