I bought one of your Pastie's in the park last night... I think it had been left in the warmer too long... I also bought some of the gravy.. The pastie it self was so dried out the inside was like paste.. I was glad that I had bought the gravy as it helped so I could eat some of... More

The pasties were awesome! You must try! We also had the Friendship soup, my daughter said, "this is the best soup! it doesn't need anything to make it better!"

Had wonderful moist pasties last night at Shepies! My husband is from the UP and he likes these better than any he has ever had up north.

I have tried the pasties twice now hoping that when they had just opened that they were experimenting on their product and that they would get it right. Two visits and no change. These pasties are dry, thats why they offer gravy. They fall apart so unlike a true Cornish pastie you cannot pick it up and eat it while... More

Thank you for your input. Shepies has always produced these pasties to be put in a bowl or on a plate, the overthick crust was intentionally done away with. This input is interesting and will be investigated for validity. Shepies is very sorry for any substandard product and would replace it without question. Always feel free to address any inconsistancy... More

We don't get pasties often - I really liked these and thought the crust was the best I've had. Tried chicken and beef - think I liked the beef - with gravy - best. It was very warm - good pasty taste (or should I say pasty tasty) and moist even without gravy. I agree with other reviewer - if... More

As a disclaimer, what I mean is that if you like pasties you should try them here. If you do not know what a pastie is, try one to see if you like it anyway (with ketchup, please, not gravy!) but these are not traditional 'Copper Country' pasties. Which I love. And yet, these are darn good. So good in... More

My wife and I happened to visit the East Town market on 8/28 and ran into Brent who runs Shepies Restaurant in Grand Haven, MI He had a tent set up selling hot Pasties. For those of you unfamiliar, look it up on Google. Beef, Chicken and Vegetarian were available and so was gravy (the way I like them). We... More

Shepies has such unique omelettes; the fiesta omelette is the only omelette I've ever liked. It was hard to find Shepies, but it was worth searching for and I'll definitely be going back.
