Good stuff

Big John is the bomb, I'd go here over subway any day...wish they had a drive thru. I usually get the ham and cheese, I have since I was a kid, not sure why, but when you like something it's hard to try something different but, Not too long ago for the very first time I tried the steak and... read more

I frequent the one in Grand Blanc. If I want a steak and onion sub, I go here, not Subway, as the subway steak subs are very wimpy compared to this place. Their steak and onion subs will not leave you hungry! VERY generous portions on the bun. I recommend the super sub with mushrooms and yellow banana peppers. Yummy.

They only make a couple of things and they do it well. Very consistent quality and service. This location has always provided fast service and good food. I wish they had a drive through.

Big John's has been around for a long time and it is no wonder! Fantastic food and great prices! We love the original steak and onion with mushroom sandwich.

the sandwiches have more meat and taste better than subway. any sandwich is available as a salad as well. there are always coupons available and that makes it very cost effective. the steak and onion traditional sandwich they have is available without onions as well. if you order it that way they cook the steak up while you wait so... You can't say you visited Flint, MI until you've had a sub from Big John's. Melt in your mouth good. You'll be hooked after just one visit.

The Big John Steak and onion sandwich is legendary and unique to the Flint area. See my review in the Burton, Mi. restaurants for more details. See the photo to get your hunger cravings started... and go... have one of these, they are sooooo good!

Big John is from Philly! What else would you expect? This is the next best thing to a Steak from Philly. In fact, I actually prefer it to any other sandwiche shop or "sub" shop around.

We had a party of 11, the service was great, but the food was only average, between pizza, soup, chicken wings, etc. But, it looked like most of the patrons were locals, which is saying something....
