Excellent Food at a Reasonable Price

Excellent food in an eclectic setting. Although Gaylord has an Alpine theme, this restaurant offers American and Greek cuisines. Although the building is dated, the food is excellent and reasonably priced.

I had the reuben sandwich and my wife had a breakfast platter, both were very good and very reasonably priced. I would eat her again.

My wife and I always stop here when making our many drives to Marquette. Gaylord is about the half way mark, and Sugar Bowl has been feeding us for years now. They offer a great corned beef hash and eggs for breakfast. For dinner we always have a nice, quiet dinner in the main dining room. The meals are meticulously... More

I'm from out of town and I'm staying Gaylord for business. I came in expecting a great dinning experience based on the reviews on here. Whoever that was not the case. My waitress sounded either drunk or high. The prices were threw the roof. For the cost of my meal I thought that it was going to come a free... More

Our meal started with fresh, warm bread. The salad bar, though small, offered fresh, varied vegetables. My prime rib was so perfectly cooked that I cut it with the edge of my fork. There were several dessert selections but I was too full to seriously consider any of them. I've have eaten in restaurants all over the world and I... More

This is a fine dinning, but could dress casual. There salad bar was excellent a long with the French bread brought to our table in a basket. My husband had chicken that he said was excellent. I had a club sandwich with fries that were out of this world and I paid an extra $3.50 for the salad bar and... More

Stopped for lunch/dinner just because it is convenient many times when traveling I 75. Ended up just ordering soup due to the wait & backlog issue. Soup was fine and typically the food is not stellar, nor creative but pleasant. So think home cooking.
