We had the special of the day, Walleye, which was excellent. Good menu selections with reasonable prices. The desserts are homemade and we had the peanut butter pie which was delicious! The décor is a little run down could do with some updating.

Sounded unique so we stopped here for dinner in July on our way through. Menu was fairly large and diverse, and the prices were really good. You can tell that their servers are not paid very much and are doing the best they can; not terrible, but I'd say heading in that direction. The food was just ok and nothing... More

Not sure how all the good reviews happen. I thought it was tremendously overpriced for fairly tasteless food. The highlight was the cherry pie, which saved the one star I was about to give. The place could use a really good clean.

In the past we really liked this restaurant so we tried the breakfast. The eggs were so overdone they were more brown than yellow. I assume this is acceptable there because the waitress didn't have any qualms about serving it.

Can tell this is an old building.  The interior is clean, eclectic, and some booths need some maintenance (when the person behind me leaned forward, my side reclined). It is old school family restaurant style.  Menu has apps, dinner, and sandwiches.  The wife had a turkey dinner and loved it.  She lives Turkey, stuffing, and real mashed potatoes.  I noticed... Stoppped in and had the turkey plates. Very bland food. Gravy was bland. Chunky barely mashed potatoes no flavor. By the way $13 for a turkey plate. Serving size of a 10 year old at thanksgiving. If you want really good turkey dinner go to the turkey roost in kawkawlin michigan. It costs less and is way better and thats... More

We were staying in Waters, so on Friday night we went to the Gobblers in Waters, MI. The building looks like a converted fast food joint. We were planning on turkey, but the restaurant staff encouraged us to try the fish fry. It was excellent. We also had the carrot cake, which was also excellent. The service was also great.... More

For those who have written great reviews...look up. This place likely hasn't been cleaned in years. The ceiling fans have gobs of dust on them (which falls into your food folks) and I doubt the rest of the place is likely much cleaner. We had hamburgers, the bison burger and the olive burger, supposedly done medium and both were way... More

What a great little restaurant! The food was fantastic, just like Thanksgiving dinner. My kids also got a turkey Caesar salad and the shrimp dinner. All were delicious. Our waitress treated us like we had been friends forever.
