Stopped here on the way north because we had been here last year, and we knew that it had a parking lot with enough room to handle our truck and travel trailer (when you are traveling in this fashion, parking is your first consideration). We enjoyed it last year, and this visit was also quite satisfactory. Since we were on... More

My husband and I first dined here in July of 2014. We both enjoyed our steaks immensely. The service was great and we felt right at home. In August of 2014 we took our daughter and her fiance back for another meal. We all ordered something different, steak, ribs, chicken and fish. All 4 of our meals were great and... More

So sad to remember dining here years ago with just my hubby having great beer and probably the best steak I had ever had. Why are you still open all these years later is nothing but a waste of tourist time and money because I'm sure locals know better. Even my kids know better...horrible service, terrible food, and beyond ridiculous... More

Big Buck used to be a good place to go and grab a meal. We were there on August 21, 2014 for lunch and the Chicken Tortilla soup had to be sent back because it was luke warm. The Beer Cheese Soup, which is the house speciality, had something that seemed to be dried milk in the bottom of the... More

We loved (past tense) Big Buck Brewery in the past and always stop in. It's like walking in Cabela's it's beautiful. Sat at the bar for a beer and reviewed the menu (pricey). While waiting for our second beer and to order food we had a lot of time on our hands. Someone's child was in the restaurant (an employee's)... More

Great microbrewery with about a dozen local brews. Beers and service were great, food not so much. Appears the place is on a downward slide.

Been to this place in the past , was suprised by how slow it took for drinks. Beer was good tasting. Food took long time ,also considering their was not many people there. I agree with others, food is a little over priced but can overlook, with good food and beverage service. Place for kids outside to keep them busy... More

What in heaven's name has happened to the Big Buck. This use to be my favorite place to stop at when going north. The 11 of us stopped 7/27 for dinner. The resturant was almost empty. We were seated relitively fast and waiter took our drink order in timely fashion. That is were it fell apart. ~15 minutes later our... More

We’ve been to this brewery/restaurant several times on our way up north from South East Michigan. The food is over-priced and not very good, but, hey, its right off 1-75 and convenient if you’re leaving after work. This Friday, June 27, 2014, we stopped as usual. I ordered a salad. Once I set fork to veg I notice right away... More

We had visited Gaylord several years ago and been here to eat. It was a great experience then and a terrible experience this time. Server was nice and attentive - he was new and trying. One of us ordered a fancy (and pricey) steak dish and the steak was so tough, it couldn't be eaten. Not impressed! Rest of the... More
