This is by far one of the best restaurants in the area for Asian inspired meals. The best calamari I have tasted, and an excellent blending of sauces with fresh vegetables and perfectly done meats and seafoods. Overlooking the Betsie Bay and Lake Michigan, it provides a beautiful and affordable evening out. It's worth the drive to Frankfort.

Wonderful restaurant with multiple asian menu items. Very good sushi, chinese dishes, thai... All well done and upscale presentations. Good service, nice patio dining area (was comfortable in August!). Went twice during my visit.

We came in on a busy summer evening; the wait was 45 minutes. We walked to the beach and received a text about 5 minutes later "Outside deck seating available" so we walked back and were seated immediately. We had maki sushi w/ ebi, unagi sushi, bulgolgi, sweet and sour chicken and Thai fried noodles. The bulgolgi, chicken and noodles... More

We go each year, and it's a nice place, but I must be ordering poorly. I'm always disappointed in the food. I'm sure we'll go again next summer, and I'll try something else.

We tried Fusion on a visit up north. Frankfort, MI is not the epicenter of Asian culture so I was not expecting much. It was actually very good. If you are expecting to compare it to other experiences in larger American cities or actual Asian cities then you will be writing a sour review. But if you are looking for... More

Four of us had dinner here yesterday and I am puzzled by all the positive reviews. The food here is pan-asian -- a little bit dumbed-down Thai, a little bit Americanized Chinese with some Korean thrown in for good measure I suppose. The flavors manage to be both bland (even the supposedly spicy dishes) and overly salty. I think maybe... More

We had five different dishes among us and I tried a bit of each. None warranted the "oh what a find" type comments in other reviews. I can only surmise that most folks doing the reviews are not familiar with Asian cuisine. Or I guess I am used to going to better Asian Restaurants. I will admit I am a... More

At last -- a nice Asian restaurant where one can get vegetables and tofu instead of traditional vacation town fare. This is beautiful indoors and the elegant dinnerware is just lovely. Great service, nice prices, and delicious and interesting choices make this a must-visit spot while in Frankfort. Judging from the number of diners on a week day in August,... More

Was very surprised to find Fusion in Frankfort. A fun take on asian cuisine with good views of the water. Staff is pleasant and efficient in seating. Reservations suggested as this place is hoping on weekends. Sushi is good, ask for the chef's favourites.

We discovered The Fusion Restaurant in Frankfort while on vacation at nearby Crystal Mountain. In the words of my two son's, "This is the best sushi they have ever had!" We love sushi and Asian inspired dishes. Last year we drove into Traverse City to go to Red Ginger. While this was a great experience, The Fusion Restaurant tops Red... More
