Very good food, unless you are very hungry stay away from the dinner menus, Had the German sampler appetizer, Chicken Cordon Bleu, sausage platter and Schnitzel from the day menu. The day menu is without soup and salad and other side dishes which when included are called night menu The Atmosphere was very authentic German, and even the serving girls looked... More

Although they did have sauerbraten, it was not the traditional sauerbraten which I found surprising It was really pot roast with gravy And they did not know what potato dumplings were!! Not very authentic to me!!

Best chicken pot pie I have ever had. Great homemade German food! Service very prompt. Cheesy potato cakes were also very tasty. Great food at a reasonable price!

We were a little sceptical about an all-you-can-eat restaurant. But, we were pleasantly surprised! Bread, two kinds, good..... Noodle soup, good..... Noodles were firm and not mushy. Remember that it is noodle soup, not chicken noodle. Salads (cucumber, pasta, coleslaw) were all good..... cranberry and apple relish tasted great with the chicken. Mashed potatoes were real and not instant, and... More

Both of the large chicken restaurants are very good and you will not be disappointed in either one. The Bavarian Inn just seems a little more authentic in its atmosphere, music, and quality of food. Although the lines are usually longer across the streets, this is where we go for Frankenmuth chicken.

The Bavarian Restaurant has the best chicken I ever ate. The sides are equally good. I have been to this restaurant twice and both times it was excellent. Our server was pleasant and the service was five stars. The ice cream it also wonderful.

We eat at the Bavarian Inn every time we travel to Frankenmuth. It has wonderful German cuisine and a beautiful German atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the servings are very generous. We haven't had any problem getting seated right away - even at dinner time.

I recently had the pleasure of bringing our 4th grade students to Frankenmuth for a field trip. Devon in group sales, took care of our reservations for the Bavarian Inn restaurant, as she has for the past few years. She is amazing! Her attention to detail and willingness to accommodate a group of 70-80 kids is wonderful. She even took... More

My wife and I had reservations and were a little late. We got in line and the seated us promptly and let us wait 25 minutes before a waiter showed up. I had to ask an employee setting a table to get us a waiter/waitress or we were leaving. The service was slow, he said he would tell his supervisor... More

The Bavarian Inn is known for one thing Germany style chicken dinners. We ate off the gluten free menu, and enjoyed the broiled chicken. Unfortunately we missed out on the bread and other tasty gluten full dishes we used to have before we were gluten intolerant. Do I recommend it yes. The restaurant Zenders across the street is pretty much... More
