This restaurant is in the same German style as the rest of Frankenmuth, including the servers wearing traditional clothing. The food is supposed to be reminiscent of home cooked food, but it seemed like most of the items on the menu were to please, let's say, an older crowd. We had the hot chicken sandwich and the portion was huge.... More

Also some pretty good deserts. I had the apple desert with added ice cream, cant miss combination. Good service. The chicken is lightly breaded which kept it moist with a little added flavor.

If you are a big fan of fried chicken dinners like Grandma used to make on Sundays, this is the place for you! Everything is served family style and there is PLENTY!! I became hooked on the Stollen Bread (which is also for sale in the shop downstairs. I brought home five loaves!!! Freezes great! ) This restaurant has the... More

I like the atmosphere of the Bavarian Inn. The wall murials depicting Grimm Fairy tales are well done. Known for their All-you-can-eat chicken dinners, it does not disappoint. The chicken is delicious and there are at least a dozen hot and cold side dishes - all excellent as well. In the lower level there are a 1/2 dozen shops, including... More

An all you can eat, full service venue. Approx. 21.00 pp, you are given appetizers to start, about 4 items with bread, then their chicken soup. Dinner comes next, chicken, mashed potato, gravy, veg, noodles- all in ample portions but they will refill upon request. Dessert is ice cream. Staff are dressed in typical german attire and the service is... More

The food is delicious. If you don't want soup, and salad with your dinner you can order off the lunch menu. The wine flight was a nice treat.

On Saturday Sept. 6 my 2 sons and myself came to the inn for dinner. We ordered the plate of german food for the amount of 22.95 each. Upon arrival of the food the portions were very small after tasting the food we were all disappointed in the quality of the food. Mike my son was visiting from Texas and... More

Really enjoyed our lunch. We chose German dishes and were not disappointed. Did not have to wait for a table even though we were in town for a big advent. We will make this a stop for sure!

Very good food with a wide range of prices. Dinners are large, but you can get a lighter menu which is very good.
