My family took me to Frankenmuth, MI for my birthday on May 20, 2015. We usually eat at Zehnder's, but wanted to change it up and go back to the Bavarian Inn (The Zehnders own this anyway... lol) and experience an appetizer that my husband and I tasted for the first time in 2005... Potato Cheese Puffs. We have talked... More

The staff was nice but maybe some of the women should wear tops that fit them. Ordered a appetizer and took 30 minutes. Didn't order anything else and took another 10 minutes to get the bill . Immediate seating to them is telling the customers to go stand in another long line in back of the restaurant . Won't be... More

We are not cheap people. We are both senior citizens. If we could of seen the menu before we were seated we would not have chose this place. Our meals for 2 people was $60.00 for just the two of us. I had the German dinner and my husband had the chicken. When they started bringing all the extra food... More

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that the menu was not explained to you at the beginning of your meal. The Family Style Chicken is an all you care to eat meal with very hearty portions. We do have a luncheon menu available that has lighter fare, less portions and lower prices. If you have time to contact me... More

The chicken is very good, but for me, what I love are all the side dishes. You get the side dishes when you order the family style meal, otherwise, you can order them separately. I usually get a two-piece chicken dinner, which comes with dressing, mashed potatoes, and gravy, then I'll order sauerkraut or blaukraut on the side. I find... More

We went to the Bavarian for lunch so wasn't a busy time. Service was very good and the food was excellent. We didn't have the traditional fried chicken but the Reuben sandwich

The Brunch was amazing, the endless amount of food was delicious. The Brunch consist of endless amounts of the Chicken Extravaganza, omlettes cooked to order, breakfast foods, carved roast beef and carved Ham, and so much more. Yummy desserts and lots and lots of other food.

Because it is so cute with servers wearing Bavarian costumes and decor that screams Bavaria we weren't even going to try it thinking it's a tourist trap. But then we asked a local to recommend a good restaurant and she told us to try it. We did and it was great. Homemade noodles in a light chicken broth was a... More

The food in this restaurant is fantastic. They have some of the best fried chicken I've tasted. The shops in the restaurant are stocked and filed with a lot of nice items. This is a must stop place on your visit to Frankenmuth, Mi
