It was an old A&W so no surprise that it has essentially the same menu and delicious burgers, coneys, and root beer. If you like A&W (and who doesn't), then you will like this place. I had a burger combo with onion rings and a root beer and was happy as could be.

On our way to or from our sons house we love to stop here. Their hot dog with the red sauce is so like the A & W. We love all the pictures on the walls and the old time music. They always have good service even when their busy, which is quite often.

We have eaten at the Flushing A many times. Always consitently good food, dine in or take out. Easy to grab a good meal on the way home.

I went to the Flushing A hoping it was like the A & W that used to be in Flushing and it was nothing like it at all. I had a hamburger that was terrible and a diet root beer that I could not drink. At another visit (I thought I would give it another try) I had a coney... More

went with a group of family members, great service, called ahead and they had a table all set up and ready, we have a family member who is in a wheel chair, no problem getting her in and to the table, they are known for the famous red sauce on the hot dogs, those who had it loved it. Very... More

My husband grew up going to this place and raved to me about the red sauce when we got married. I thought he went overboard about how good the hot dogs were (they're hot dogs, gross) until I finally ate here. Not being from Michigan, I had never heard of red sauce and thought it was strange no one could... More

This is the place I go when I'm up north and looking for a Flint coney. It is outstanding that they decided to split from the old A&W brand to keep the real coney sauce. In general, the restaurant is cleaner than your average Coney Island, but with more of a 50s diner style. Get two coneys, gravy fries and... More

This is a quant little old fashioned eatery. If you want to stay in your car and order real hot fogs with the original red sauce, this is your place.

The Flushing A has basically the same foods as most A&W'S but better and a little more varied. It is comfortable and a friendly place to eat
