My husband grew up going to this place and raved to me about the red sauce when we got married. I thought he went overboard about how good the hot dogs were (they're hot dogs, gross) until I finally ate here. Not being from Michigan, I had never heard of red sauce and thought it was strange no one could... More

This is the place I go when I'm up north and looking for a Flint coney. It is outstanding that they decided to split from the old A&W brand to keep the real coney sauce. In general, the restaurant is cleaner than your average Coney Island, but with more of a 50s diner style. Get two coneys, gravy fries and... More

This is a quant little old fashioned eatery. If you want to stay in your car and order real hot fogs with the original red sauce, this is your place.

The Flushing A has basically the same foods as most A&W'S but better and a little more varied. It is comfortable and a friendly place to eat

The A was a staple in my younger years, the great hotdogs with "red sauce" and the root beer served in a frosted mug. It doesn't get any better than that! Now I take my grandkids to the A, it really takes me back . . . . . .

You can get a frosty mug of root beer and a burger or coney dog. Nice place to sit and eat after activities in Flushing.

If you're in Flushing, you need to stop into one of the last Drive In Restaurant's in the state (probably the world.) I have lived in Flushing my whole life and this is an iconic stop on anyone that appreciates the olden days. The coneys are awesome and of course are crafted from a local favorite, the Koegel hotdog!

It seems all the tastes you remember from your childhood just aren't what they used to be....with the exception of the A's hot dog and root beer. The taste is the same the quality is the same and it is THE best hot dog around. The soft bun, the dog and of course the sauce...yum.
