We came based on the tripadvisor reviews. - only 1 other table was there when we got there (around 6pm on a Saturday night) so we were tempted to go to Sagano a few doors down because Sagano was much busier - glad we stayed at Grill of India - lamb curry was great - jumbo shrimp curry was ok... Have gone there a few times with Indian friends who have chosen it. Never disappointed. Great food and service in a clean restaurant.

We can't believe we did not know about this "jewel" as we have lived near Flint our whole lives!! The food is excellent as is the service. Went for the buffet, on a Wednesday evening, to find out the buffet is at lunchtime! : ( We were still very pleased with everything we ordered off the menu. There were four... More

I have been eating here before the current owners purchased it. I have NEVER been disappointed! I am super fussy about Indian food quality and authentic flavour. For me, I do not eat hot foods. A tiny nip is ok but I have always been able to ask the servers about the "hotness" of the foods on the buffet and... More

I am so beyond happy Grill of India is in Flint. My boyfriend and I go to the lunch buffet at least once a week. We have an on going inside joke that if they ever go out of business or relocate, that is when it's time for us to pack our bags and move. It's seriously that good. We're... More

Traveling through Flint, this was a great find. We tried all dishes and they were all tasty with good spice level.

Visited this restaurant a couple times now. Discovered their buffet for the first time. Loved everything. The waiter was a little scattered but very nice. Food was wonderful. This restaurant is in Flint so our travel was about 65 miles away and really worth it.

My family and I LOVE this place! I get the mushroom masala and my husband loves the paneer masala. Besides the AMAZING food (we can't get enough of the bread either) this place has fantastic service. We have brought several friends and all walk out with a new respect for Indian food. We have been to a few other Indian... More

i dont know if it was because the place wasnt busy or what, but the food had obviously been sitting on buffet for quite a while, and the workers there couldn't have cared less. I admit that I don't care for all indian dishes, but the place smelled like burnt hair, and B.O. The owners kids were running all over... More

Having never tried Indian Cuisine before, I have to say this food is amazing and after only one time, I am addicted to this place. Favorite dishes are Chicken Tikka Marsala and Tandori Chicken Tikka - so amazing. It's a wonder that this restaurant is not packed for how good the food is, but most people probably don't even know... More
