My wife and I drove to Olio's on Thursday night (Nov. 14, 2013) and the door had a sign that read "Closed for Business". I hope that they aren't permanently closed.

Again a Groupon and staff was superb in greeting us and telling us of the specials and the menu. We were given a basket of fresh garlic bread and an olive oil, balsamic vinegar and rosemary dipping sauce. Outstanding and generous, First surprise and SO good. We ordered calamari grilled and we were both surprised at the spiciness. It is... More

It won't be long before you will have to line up to get a seat here. Great food, reasonable prices and a good wine selection make this a great place for any meal.

Flint and the surrounding communities have A LOT of good Italian restaurants. This one is a little farther drive out of the city center of Flint and is about halfway to Flushing, Mi. Good Italian restaurants in the area competing for your business include Sorrento's and Ruggero's. I'm thinking that this competition is the reason why only two other tables... More

I dined at Olio's on a Tuesday evening with my daughter and grandchildren - ages 1, 3, & 12. The waitress was attentive to our special needs and the food was excellent. I had the eggplant parmesan - it was tender and spicy with a large portion. I was surprised that the restaurant was practically empty because food this tasty... More

The food at this cafe is very good and well prepared, however the portions seem to be smaller than one would encounter at Olive Garden. I visited this establishment on a Friday night with my wife and extended family. Surprised not to see more tables full of patrons, there were only three other tables seated at the time and the... After being disappointed in a few meals this past summer we decided to give it a last try. I must admit things seemed to be going down-hill sometime after the departure of the main chef. But last week I had the Salmon & my husband a NY Steak & we were very happy with everything. We ordered the house cabernet... More

Chicken Crimosa. That;s all that need to be said. The chef has several great creations but that's the best. Always consider the specials. My only criticism is the dinner salad is a little "weedy" for my taste but my wife likes it. I always opt for the soup and it never disappoints. Everything we've tried has been good. But again...
