You Gotta Go!

My first time here. I had Slacker Especial omelet made with egg whites. This contained black beans, cheddar cheese, corn chips, topped with sour cream, salsa and avocado slices. My husband had the Veggie Rumble omelet, with egg whites and lots of veggies and mushrooms. We shared a gingerbread... read more

Decent service, great food, large portion sizes. Go early to ensure they don't run out of your favorite fish. Give it a try

We were pretty hungry after walking around the Henry Ford Museum so decided on the Fly Trap. Had to get the Green Eggs and Ham and the Red Chili Salmon Burger. Both were great tasting. Guy sampled the green eggs; that's all we could get out of the server.

Delicious food at extraordinarily low prices. My ribeye steak sandwich was not tough and cooked to a perfect medium rare. My lady's lemongrass chicken soup was fresh and flavorful and perfectly spiced. The decor leaves something to be desired but, hey, you don't eat the furniture.

I'm not sure what all these reviews are talking about. Maybe we caught them on a good day or something but the service was great, the food was great, parking was easy, and we even bought some sauces to take home! It was one of the best experiences I've had in a while! Loved it!

The food is incredible! We ordered the beef brisket and The Boot... both were awesome! The homemade sauces and jams were all good. We scoped out other dishes that were being brought out and everything looked fantastic.

Great atmosphere and service, one of our favorite brunch restaurants! My favorite dish is the red flannel hash, drizzle a little hot sauce on and its perfection!

http://www.theflytrapferndale.com/The_Fly_Trap/daily_buzz.php Great little place. It's worth the wait. It's unique, right down to the salt/pepper shakers that are different on every small table. The Salmon burger is awesome and so is the Lemongrss Faux Bowl. Really, very small, quaint, unique and great little unusual dishes. The price point was reasonable. The staff was good, personable but busy so don't expect... More

Beware! I visited (and reviewed) The Fly Trap in January. Food and service were good, if the wait was a bit long. Now comes March, and a small "point of sale" charge appears on my bank balance from The Fly Trap. Haven't been back since January. There's a thief somewhere. Still recommend you eat here; just pay cash.

Stopped into this eatery the other day and had a little wait which appeared to be the norm. They have a fun way to put your name on the wait list, it's a large roll of paper hanging on the wall that is self service, you write your name and party size on it with a magic marker, and they... More
