Okay, this has got to be the WORST Indian dining experience I have ever had. The food was oily and very bland. BLAND. For Indian food? Inexcusable. Even the papadum was flavorless. Even the RICE did not taste like authentic Basmati rice but was also bland. The waiter was very nice. My husband and I were both very disappointed.

Even though this was my first experience with Indian cuisine we really enjoyed Star of India tonight. Service was very pleasant, pricing is good and portions generous. I found the food was very good and flavorful. Mulligatawny soup was hearty and tons of flavor, Samosa was awesome, Naan bread was very tastey as well. Our main dishes were both great... More

I enjoy the chicken dishes and the sauces, (especially masala and mahkni). The vegetarian dishes though are disappointing because the vegetables seem canned or frozen. So, when I crave vegetables, I go across the street for Bangkok Cafe.

Our food was superb, served by friendly & attentive waitstaff. The samosas were hot & crispy. All the sauces were spiced just right, and we appreciated that they were not loaded with salt and grease. Clearly everything was made from scratch. Their naan was served hot, had just the right degree of chewy, and was loaded with garlic. The chicken... More

The only thing I can say is that this was the worse Indian food I have ever had. The first sigh should have been that we were the only ones there. Do your self a favor and find another Indian restaurant like Rangoli.

Service here is great, food is great, although they could use more and better vegetarian selections. Nice looking place with tablecloth and candle, nice Indian music. Inexpensive, but no alcohol served. Try the lamb biryani, or chicken makhni, excellent somosas, and a mango lassi drink.

My wife and I went there craving the delicious food of the sub-continent. All we got was slop. My wife ordered the vegetarian dinner for one. I ordered the chicken tikka, mango chutney and spinach. The samosas were like turnovers and only contained cubed potato. The chicken was foul not fowl. It smelled bad and tasted worse. It was exchanged... More

Everything here is house-made, including the yogurt and the na-an. A marvelous yogurt mango drink that either tempers the spices in dinner or serves as a delightful dessert. A nicely varied menu. While no wine is served patrons are permitted to bring their own.

This restaurant is family run. The food is very good! While the restaurant does not have a liquor license you are welcome to bring your own. While dining there another family informed us that they have come for over 12 years and now drive over 30 minutes just to have Friday night Curry.
