In all honesty, I've never been that much of a drinker, nor a sports nut, but this place has a great atmosphere for just meeting up with friends. There are often times a selection of sporting events on the numerous television screens. Which also follow the Michigan sports teams and depending on the crowd, will have the game audio on... More

The atmosphere is decent, the food is decent, but this place is dirty!! The bathrooms are literally filthy. My son refused to use the men's room. If the bathrooms are that gross and the dining area is obviously not kept clean...what does your kitchen look like? For that reason alone, I'm out. There are several other establishments in Fenton that... More

We had a large group. Considering the fact that we had the large group, the waitress did a great job, although I would think that since we called ahead & made them aware of the large group, they would have made arrangements for extra help. Anyway, food was great. Over all had a great time, but...the bathrooms at this establishment... More

Recently returned for a second visit . The food isn't bad , we got burgers , sandwichs ,soup and salad . If you want to hangout and eat around a lot of cool hockey memorabilia this is your place.

The chili actually had ingredients in it and not just spice, beans and sauce. The pizza was very good , too. The downfall was that my husband wanted a Guinness and they don't carry it, but have alot of other beers.

This is a standard sports bar except....you will see families there. Good food. Quiet and relaxing early. Slow paced, especially the staff. This is a good place to go if you are not in a hurry for your food. We have been there lots.

There's nothing either that good or that bad about the Penalty Box. The menu is typical of many sports themed bar/restaurants. The restaurant is filled with televisions and the walls with hockey memorabilia. It's often noisy and is intended to be. There is occasional live music. The menu includes a variety of sandwiches, a few more substantial dinners items, pizzas... More

My wife and i have been coming here for years and recently we decided to come up and have some drinks, when we got there we sat at the bar, the bartender was so busy flirting with some dude it took her almost 10 minutes to greet us . Finally we ordered are drinks. It took another 10 minutes to... More

Just returned from the Penalty Box and had a bad experience. My Family and I had a coupon from Restaurant.com and told the waitress about it before placing our orders. I asked if we could use the coupon on the buy one get one free pizza and she said "yes". I asked the waitress Amy about the Chicken Parmesan....menu said... More

I love hockey, and all detroit sports thats one of the reasons I have gone to the penalty box since it has been open. Lately it has slid down hill a liitle bit! Service and food have been marginal. Tonight I had an awful experience so I won't be back ever again. I ordered the $16.99 ribeye steak, and when... More
