Very Good

Surprisingly good with so many new food choices around. Had the Friday Night Fish Fry - which is actuallyq uite a bit more than it sounds like. Three types of fish bread and prepared differently - each in its own special seasoning - and fried at different times & temps. Cod, Perch and... read more

Based on others raving reviews, maybe it was an off night? Starting with my glass of over-priced and under-delivered Cabernet, the experience was well, unsatisfying. In today's wine market, every restaurant should be able to serve a decent house red. I didn't even finish my glass. The menu should have been a clue to go with a simple dish but... More

We visit "The Hotel" almost weekly for a meal that is always good and not over-priced. I like their fish dishes, lamb shank, and eggplant (when they have it). Their salads are also good and their fish fry is amazing. We try to sit in the bar area and call for reservations. Margaret the hostess is very personable and has... More

I have tried many dishes off this diverse menu and everything is scrumptious. If you have not made the trip to try this wonderful restaurant - you should. We always sit in the bar area as we enjoy a lively atmosphere, which the Fenton Hotel has. Live music was playing and it was great too.

On a recent visit to Fenton, we had the opportunity to try the Fenton Hotel restaurant. The place had a great ambiance. Warm and old in the cold. We had a party of five who ordered the fish, prime rib, meatloaf, and pasta. The prime rib was huge and the fish was outstanding. We highly recommend the Leroy St salad.... More

Blackened whitefish is the best ever. I just love it! Garlic mashed potatoes with skins on and a LeRoy salad. Can't do better anywhere in the area. Bread is delicious, but i am missing the whipped butter. Please bring the whipped butter back! Liver and onions was devoured. Same guy on the piano. Usually find the music annoying but the... More

We were lucky to find this wonderful historic restaurant on the internet, since we were staying at a hotel nearby. Having never been to Fenton before, we were afraid we would miss turkey dinner. The restaurant was open all day with a full menu, but naturally we chose the turkey and so glad we did. It was delicious! The place... More

Very fancy place. Lots of good menu choices. Crab cakes were wonderful. With all the wonderful options it was difficult to choose main courses. My husband got the filet mignon and I literally stole all of his mashed potatoes, they were that good. I got seafood pesto and the shellfish bisque. Both were fantastic and very fresh. We will come... More

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Fenton. You can count on consistent quality food and service. We prefer to dine in the Tavern area to enjoy the live music (really good!) and warm atmosphere. The Whitefish dip is so good - if you haven't tried it - try it - you won't be disappointed (my husband makes a... More

Stopped in on a Sunday evening while out for a drive. This was the first time we had been here. Food and service was excellent. We would not hesitate to eat here again.
