Fun, relaxed atmosphere

Old-time decor and architecture make this place interesting. We have dinner here at least 2-3 times a month and have never had a bad experience. The food is good, the service friendly, and the entertainment is always just right - not too loud.

The Friday fish fry is great. The bread sticks are the best i have ever eaten and that is saying a lot because Fenton House is just down the road and they have really good bread sticks.

I haven't been here in years and a friend of mine had a $100.00 gift certificate they weren't going to use. Now I know why. Gross! Gross! Gross! The place is so dark that you can't see to walk and I also know why now. So you can't see the garbage they serve. I got what they considered short ribs.... More

We love this place. Great atmosphere and great food and our favorite local bartender: Joe. We typically eat at the bar but the whole place has a very quaint atmosphere. We typically go here just ourselves but also see lots of groups here having dinner so it is a great location for either.

Food was fair. Steaks are overcooked and the cuts do not appear to be the best. Even the loaded baked potato was boring. No flair, just food.

Each time I am in the Holly/Fenton area, I ALWAYS eat at the Fenton Hotel. I admit that the "ghosts" were my original reason for visiting, but was pleasantly surprised by a very friendly and compitent staff, a comfortable atmosphere and fabulous food. I have never been disappointed. You can come dressed up for dinner or come in jeans, you... More

I have always had stellar food and very very good food at the Fenton Hotel. Offering a relaxed, but semi-formal atmosphere is my favorite part. You can choose to sit on the dining room side with candles lit, white table cloths, and a more serene setting, or choose to sit on the pub side where there is often live music,... More

We love the Fenton Hotel, visiting at least every couple of weeks. It's a great "date night" place for my wife and I as the food is good and the live music on the weekends is generally lots of fun. They change the menu daily, which can mean they may run out of a popular item if you're ordering later... More

Not our idea of fine dining. Our waiter served our dinners and disappeared. Water and pop glasses remained empty until we waved the waiter down. We agree with a previous poster that the dishes looked like they were resurrected from the 70s. On the plus side, we and our teenage grandson thought the chicken finger appetizer was the best we... We love eating on the tavern side because it's busy, authentically old style with modern amenities. The restaurant side is intimate, quiet and comfortable. The food is always great with incredible breadsticks. I would have given it a 5 except the wine portions are very small for the price. The beers are good on tap, however.
