Great atmosphere, delicious food

We love eating on the tavern side because it's busy, authentically old style with modern amenities. The restaurant side is intimate, quiet and comfortable. The food is always great with incredible breadsticks. I would have given it a 5 except the wine portions are very small for the price. The... read more

Each time I am in the Holly/Fenton area, I ALWAYS eat at the Fenton Hotel. I admit that the "ghosts" were my original reason for visiting, but was pleasantly surprised by a very friendly and compitent staff, a comfortable atmosphere and fabulous food. I have never been disappointed. You can come dressed up for dinner or come in jeans, you... More

I have always had stellar food and very very good food at the Fenton Hotel. Offering a relaxed, but semi-formal atmosphere is my favorite part. You can choose to sit on the dining room side with candles lit, white table cloths, and a more serene setting, or choose to sit on the pub side where there is often live music,... More

We love the Fenton Hotel, visiting at least every couple of weeks. It's a great "date night" place for my wife and I as the food is good and the live music on the weekends is generally lots of fun. They change the menu daily, which can mean they may run out of a popular item if you're ordering later... More

Not our idea of fine dining. Our waiter served our dinners and disappeared. Water and pop glasses remained empty until we waved the waiter down. We agree with a previous poster that the dishes looked like they were resurrected from the 70s. On the plus side, we and our teenage grandson thought the chicken finger appetizer was the best we... Not much good to say about the Fenton Hotel. The look and feel of the facility is shabby. Sure, it's a historic building, but everything about the place was cheap. That's fine if you're out for a Coney, but in an establishment that bills itself as "fine dining" it's a big disappointment. Dishes looked to be from the '70s and... More

We arrive around 7:30 on 12/22 and were promptly seated. All dinners were brought quickly and we each enjoyed our entree. We eat here at least 3-4 times a year. Great service and friendly staff

The food is great. They have one of the best New York strip steaks in the area. Sit on the bar side. Parking is limited on weekends.

I've been here 3 or 4 times over the past ten years. I've never been disappointed by the food. The service could be better. I feel like this place has come down a notch over the years in terms of service and atmosphere but the food has always been excellent.

On a whim I decided to revisit one of my favorite "haunts" from a few years back to celebrate my wife's birthday. I asked to be seated in the "loft" area which has a history of having spiritual encounters. That added some excitement to the evening. Our two sons joined us for the event. One of our favorite meals at... More
