Visited the Crane's restaurant after we went apple picking up the street. Great atmosphere, food and the pies....oh just get one. We got the chocolate pecan. Fantastic

Obviously, when you come to "Crane's Pie Pantry", you're coming primarily for the pie. It's definitely worth the visit. Everything is done with farm-fresh ingredients - and it feels and tastes fresh and homemade. The cider is also a treat - the orchard is next door, so if you're in season (as we were), you'd have to pick the apple... More

This is a very quaint restaurant with antiques linng the walls. It is not the type of place we would normally stop at but we were in the area and hungry. My husband and I ordered veggie burgers and they were very good. My mother ordered a cheeseburger and said that it was good. We did not have dessert and... More

Great place to relax and have a bowl of chilli, slice of home made bread and piece of pie. It made our day.

Stopped here at the "sit-down" restaurant with a fairly good sized family group - seating was a little slow considering we were there on an "off hour", but not terribly so. Very fun ambiance, lots of historical-type stuff on the walls. Looks like there has been little upgrading to the main area since it first opened - this can sometimes... More

My wife, daughter, and mother visited Crane's two different times during the same week of our South Haven vacation. The first time was at their restaurant. The atmosphere is incredibly unique as well as inviting. It was interesting to walk around the restaurant and look at all the unique things they have from past history. The service was very friendly... More

We stopped in on our way out of town. We purchased a blueberry pie baked fresh to eat when we arrived home, a frozen blueberry strudel pie and an apple pie. I also purchased a jar of their apple butter which was the VERY BEST we have ever had, hands down. The blueberry pie was very runny but very delicious.... More

Cute place to lunch but the real deal here are the fruit pies. Don't waste your time or money on chocolate pecan, so for the cherry and the berry pies. OMG -- so good. They could market their stuff better -- why not some of their famous jam on the tables and their fabulous raspberries in the lemonade? You can... More

The food was great. Enjoyed looking at the memorabilia as we were waiting to be served. The menu has lots of different items. I enjoyed a cup of apple cider in the summer. Also has cider donuts and pies to take home

I have come to the Saugatuck-Douglass area since 2001 with my friends Harold and Alan from Chicago and last time, October 2013, we had dinner there. The Pie Pantry is set in a n old barn and it looks really nice and the pies and cider are very good. We were a couple of people and had decided to have... More
