Orchards, and Apples, Antiques and Pies, ...OH MY!

Take the whole family! ("Well-behaved children are welcome, others will be made into pies!") The nicest orchards- crisp and clean and well-marked. Take the tour! Delicious apples! I have been stopping here for years. today's visit was as good as always. While they have excellent sandwiches. I prefer to come here for their Apple Cider, Apple Cider Donuts, and GREAT Pies. Check the hours before visiting - today (a Saturday in early April) they close at 6:00 pm. They now offer hard cider, and Blueberry wine, etc.

If so, this is a place you will want to go to. We were driving between Holland, Michigan and Plainwell, Michigan and we saw a sign for this place. Pie all of a sudden sounded like a necessity so we cheerfully drove an extra twenty miles (to and from) to get to CRANE'S PIE PANTRY. We were delighted with what... More

In this order... One loaf of cinnamon swirl bread, one dozen apple cider doughnuts, one pie (any pie). I have only eaten there once and did not feel that I got "value for the money". Perhaps ordered the wrong items? If you are near Saugatuck, make the drive, buy the above mentioned items. Enjoy! OH! Almost forgot about the road-side... More

Thie resturant is a must if traveling in SW Michigan. They have a bakery and the food is excellent. You must try slice of White Bread, next have a Apple Cider Donut, and their Apple Pie is better than you can find anywhere,...better than honemade. Crane's is about 6 miles off the interstate, but, well worth the trip

The restaurant had a waiting list at 2:30 in the afternoon!!! It was a short wait and so worth it. The best dessert I have ever tasted was their Honeycrisp Gelato covered with homemade hot caramel with whipped cream and nuts. It was divine! The interior is filled with antiques. Lots of "things" to look at in the store.

We were there the Friday of Columbus Day so that could account for the overcrowded feel. The menu is very good and the pies are definitely worth the price. I brought home the raspberry rhubarb for my sister who said it was the very best she had ever had (and my sister is a great pie maker). They had plenty... More

Great little spot to stop in and enjoy food your mom and Grandma would make for you on a lazy weekend afternoon. All food is homemade and excellent. Visit the bakery to take home some of the best pie I've ever had at a restaurant. Take home a baked pie or frozen and bake it at home. Great relaxed antique... More

It has feels like nothing has changed over the years! Small, crowded but comfortably the same pantry, restaurant and outside stand. But the prices sure have gone up! The corn mase was fun, but pretty abused. We enjoyed picking several types of apples though, a great variety! Oh and what a beautiful view the orchard is in a nice fall... More
