Tired of Waiting

This is an original Chinese food restaurant, not American Chinese style. The price is expensive. I don't go there anymore because I don't want to wait so long in a Chinese restaurant. People like it only because of its fancy interior.

We stopped by here for lunch last weekend. The restaurant was not busy so I hoped for a good meal. I was just in China on business so the taste of the true Chinese food was still in my mind. Two dishes were ordered between us: Sweet sour and General Tsao's chicken. The sweet sour was nice. It did not... More

We went to Hong Hua, a much better than average Chinese restaurant, for lunch. When we first arrived we were greeted quickly at the door by the friendly hostess. We immediately noticed how clean the restaurant was. The crisp white tablecloths made it feel even more special. We were seated at a cozy booth in the front room. It was... More

A decade ago, this was the best Chinese restaurant in the metro Detroit area. Sadly, the food on our past few visits has been limp and boring. I'm giving up on this restaurant.

We have gone with a group several times for dinner (with an Asian friend) and as a couple for lunch numerous times. The most encouraging mark of quality is that the diners are diverse with many Asians. Lunches are very good but Peking duck (available at lunch and splendidly presented) and other dinner items are great. Gotta go, really hungry... More

This is a can't miss experience. There are many great dishes that I could cover. From the tea to the duck it is the best Chinese I've had. The walnut coconut shrimp is my personal love. The General Tso's chicken is a staple done just right. The mango dessert is perfectly light and satiating. The presentation and atmosphere is what... More

This is a very good restaurant in Farmington Hills. I had been to this restaurant earlier also. By far, this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the locality. All the dishes we ordered were quite tasty and delicious.

Good food. A little pricy. The fried rice is not greasy, nor is the spring rolls. They have a lot of vegetables served. Only bummer is when we have carry out, they have not given the plum sauce.

Delicious authentic Cantonese Chinese food with an emphasis on quality and presentation. The seafood dishes are all excellent and the Peking duck worth any amount of driving. Ask for the seafood and bean curd soup too. Prices are higher then average and we were shocked to get charged for white rice. It is a lovely special occasion not take your... More
