If you been to the original lelli's you would remember the extreme attention paid to detail in the meal and "service" where Mr. Lelli (the father) made sure his staff were on point 24/7. We have dined here probably 20 times in the past, but the age of the place is starting to really show. My chair lost its support and the carpet is looking shabby. The servers need new and fresh tuxedos too. The menu is looking very tired. The food is good, not great but good. Somehow we were charged $115.00 for... More

I've tried this restaurant four times in the past year. It has so much potential. Classic, old style Italian steakhouse atmosphere. The most unique and best tasting Minestrone soup you'll every experience. Both a light or a six course option for any of the entrees you order. Food quality and portions good. Where this place absolutely falls down is service.... More

We dined here last night for my mother-in-law's 97th birthday. Lelli's is her favorite restaurant-I think because she remembers the original one in Detroit. We've eaten at the Auburn Hills one many times-I am not particularly fond of it, but we decided to try this Lelli's. Their minestrone soup is OUTSTANDING, but the rest of the food lacks in any... First, the food is excellent!! Now the bad part. The waiter was terrible. I ordered a bottle of wine. He brings out a different bottle of wine, saying they were out of the wine I ordered. I guess he assumed I would just take it. I asked for the wine list, that took 10 min, ordered different wine. After 20... More

I made reservations for Christmas Eve at 7pm about 6 weeks before. When we arrived, we were seated in the sports bar area, looking at a big screen tv and rows of booze bottles with flashing lights going up and down the shelf. Not what we wanted for Christmas Eve ambiance. Finally we were seated in the dining room, directly... More

As a travel coordinator for a large Senior Center, I gladly booked a New Year's Eve dinner for our group at Lelli's on the Green, based on the reputation of their Auburn Hills location. What a mistake! I made the reservation in August to secure the date and location. About 2 months prior the date, I tried contacting the manager... More

During my recent visit to this area, I needed to treat a good customer to a nice dinner. We found the bar very friendly and the staff helpful. A simple nod to the bartender and a nice refill would quickly arrive. In the dining area, the wait staff was quick to attend to our needs and the food was nice... More

I was so excited as I have never had a bad meal downtown back in the 60's to 80's however Steves parents and grandparents would be disappointed, not in presentation but taste exception was the Orchard Salad and Soup... the stuffing was awful- Spongy with no flavor, Sweet Potato..c'mon, how can you screw up that...but you managed...the dessert was atrocious...... Found the food just ok but the prices high. This did not feel like a casual dining place even though it is located on a golf course. Thought it felt a bit pretentious. Unlikely to return there.
