Good food and atmosphere

Was here on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. We were waited on fast and our food came in a timely manner also. Food was really good (I would recommend the French fries).

For the last 8 years I have always felt the Ludington Grill had the best BLT in the land. Not any longer. I stopped in for one a couple of days ago and was terribly disappointed. They used to make it with thick sliced bread that tasted great and thick slices of bacon. What I was served was see through... More

So sorry you had a BLT that did not live up to your expectations. We are using the same bakery bread for the last 7 years, and while bacon is somewhat hard to control each slice, we use 5 slices of top quality meat. I wish you would have told your server so we could have made your meal more... More

Had the Rubin special for St. Patrick's Day, great flavor. Great atmosphere, will be back next time I'm in town to try something else off the large menu.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food here. We didn't expect much more than "bar food" but man, it was quite the opposite! Very tasty and well-presented meals. The unique atmosphere with the mural makes the Ludington Grill that much more enjoyable.

Being I live in this city I may be a bit partial .. but Ludington Grill provides good service with good cuisine and a ample bar with a beautiful interior .

After a late football game we asked some locals where to go so late. They helped us find the Ludington Grill. We showed up starving at 9:58pm. Thankfully the staff said we were just fine ordering even though they stop at 10. The menu had many choices but we all stuck to burgers so we wouldn't hold them up. Service... More

I recently ate dinner here and it was very good. The menu was complete and the had a decent selection. I had a steak which was prepared very well. As a good Wisconsinite, I also enjoyed that they have Korbel Brandy on hand. I recommend this restaurant downtown Escanaba.

This is our favorite restaurant and bar in Escanaba. The service is always great, the food is hot, and the drinks are good. The pepper jack soup is to die for (they have it all the time), the ahi tuna is very good, and the BLT is also amazing. Also, the parmesan chicken wings are very good, but get the... More

I was staying in Escanaba for one night on my way home from the St Ignace/Mackinaw City/Mackinac Island area of MI. I wanted to go somewhere for dinner other than a fast food restaurant, but was having trouble finding places open on a Sunday night around 7:00. I decided to try the Ludington Grill since I came across that when... More

Three of us ate here and two were disappointed. First the good review. The whitefish sandwich was very good. It came with homemade chips although the menu said it came with fries. An alternative was $1.99 for chips and salsa. The two disappointing meals were the artichoke burger (the artichoke dip on top of the burger was cold) and the... More
