We have been there many times in the past few years including for our son's wedding reception. Each time was so very nice. The food is excellent, I love the atmosphere and the service is great. Highly recommend!

There were 16 of us there early New Year's Eve by reservation (5:30 pm), a few were a little late. It took 1 1/2 hours to even get our food soup/salad; then half the table ordered prime rib med. rare, and it came "very bloody/raw." A couple of us returned it; the rest waited too long to want to wait... More

My wife and some friends from out of town went for New Year's Eve and we loved the food and atmosphere. We made a reservation which didn't really mean too much as they way overbooked for the evening. We were seated for dinner 30 minutes after our scheduled reservation. The staff was working as hard as they could to keep... More

Yes, the place is a bit gaudy, and yes it is kind of "old school' - but that is the charm of the place! A bit like going back into time when people dressed finely for special occasions. No you do not need to dress up per say, but it is so nice to be served on fine linens, with... More

The Villa was built in the late 1920s. A favorite of the Licavoli's purple gang. It once housed a casino that sports hidden rooms and tunnels. The interior still reflects a time long gone and is purported haunted. So enjoy the food but don't stay the night!

You can't go wrong with the filets, shrimp, perch, or frog legs at Angelo's. The sauces are a bit salty for me but overall excellent. If you happen to show up on your Birthday get $20 off the bill…as long as you can prove it.

Externally, the building is quite inconspicuous and completely belies what greets one inside. The main dining room is spectacular, and the atmosphere is one of relaxed elegance in a dichotomous meld of yesteryear and timelessness. Clothed tables, encircled with diners in lively conversation, dot the room and the air is an electric, hushed hum. We began with the clam chowder.... More

This is an older restaurant that the dining room is lost in the 60's from a very elegant restaurant that is lots of mirrors and dark blue wallpaper with magnificent crystal chandliers. Everything white linen table cloths/napkins. Service is good, sometimes slow to get your entrée out, but everything is cooked to perfection from filet mignon to frog legs and... More

Very unique restaurant. Old world meets roaring 20s. The food is very good but the atmosphere is excellent. Great spot for a romantic date night!
