Every year for our friends birthday, we take her to her favorite restaurant, Angelo's. She considers their beef menu items as the best. Angelo's menu has a very good selection of beef, Italian food and seafood. For a treat, we had our friend select a combination of lobster and beef tenderloin. It was a big hit. I selected the seafood... More

This restaurant is an extremely busy restaurant. The service is very slow. They do have excellent Yellow Perch which almost everybody orders. They do not server Two Hearted Ale even though that is a Michigan beer.

This restaurant takes you back to the elegance of supper clubs. The decor was classy with it's mirrored walls and crystal chandeliers. There were 5 of us in our party. Each meal was delicious, from the fried shrimp (absolutely huge) to the scallops to the veal parmigiana. The baskets of bread were filled to the brim with warm bread. Our... More

It has been a few weeks since my wife and I last ate at Angelo's Northwood Inn, however, the recent memories of excellent Italian food remain with us. Angelo's makes some of the best veal dished anywhere. The Picatta was thin, tender and with only a thin batter..... truly excellent! The sides of pasta are also excellent and the deserts... More

We have a large group of gentlemen friends who dine out together once each month. This month, we went to Angelo's Northwood Villa. Upon entering, I was impressed with the elegance and bygone era charm. For a moment, I thought I was back in a fine dining establishment of the 1930's, with ornate mirrors and sconces lining the walls, chandeliers,... More

We had a wonderful dinner, we started with bruschetta that had a little bit of spice, excellent i might add I had Romeo and Juliet chicken which was so tender you could have cut it a plastic fork, the service was excellent, our waiter was a joy. My husband had a beautiful steak which he said was likewise excellent. Would... More

I ate at Angelo's on 2 consecutive nights. Each night I got a basket of bread sticks and their cheesy Italian/garlic bread automatically. The cheesy bread was tasty. The first night I had the 9 OZ. Filet Mignon. I asked for, and got it cooked medium-rare. It was probably the least tender Filet I've had. The meat was grainy and... More

We love this restaurant! BUT, last evening we had a fillet at $20.00 and wanted to make it surf and turf. The cost, $66.00. Something is not right!

I was a little worried about the restaurant from the outside appearance, but when I walked in, I was blown away! The decor was so cool, and had a mid 50's elegant vibe to it. The food was so delicious!! You just have to try it.

Food is excellent. Sometimes the food takes awhile but if you're not in a hurry it's a good place to dine.
